This year my card making is not going to Beas much as usual because I have spent the last 4 month’s battling pneumonia and some heart issues also!
Usually my cards are finished by now and are stamped and addressed ready to mail the day before Thanksgiving but this year I only have a couple cards done and I am not sure I can find the energy to make many more.
I keep plugging away though and am grateful for each card I AM able to create! TFS!
By Konni Andis October 6, 2017 - 10:36 am

How fun! Happy WCMD to all!!! My holiday creating plans include handmade Christmas cards, homemade baked goods and sweet treats, plus packaging (decorating the packaging for my treats is my all-time FAVE, especially with Scrapbook Adhesives products!!!) I will also be making my usual felt ornaments, candles and some home décor pieces. Thanks for helping make my WCMD super awesome!!!
By Beth Sherwin October 6, 2017 - 10:46 am

By Terrie October 6, 2017 - 10:48 am
I want to make some Halloween cards this weekend, and I’ll make Thanksgiving cards for my parents and sister. I really hope to make a bunch of Christmas cards, too, but I’d better get started soon! I always have the plan of making a lot of cards, but usually end of starting too late to finish them in time 🙂
By Susan Romito October 6, 2017 - 10:50 am

My Christmas cards, for this year, are finished! I was on a scrapbook retreat in May 2016 and worked on my Christmas cards then. Yay me…this is the first time I have finished my cards so far in advance! Now, if I can do this for all of my other cards for the year LOL!

For the past two years, I’ve made my Christmas cards a year ahead. That way, I don’t have angst trying to make, write a personal message, address, stamp and send my Christmas cards. I have next year’s card designs figured out and look forward to making them while the fireplace is blazing, carols are playing and the tree is twinkling.
By Julia D. October 6, 2017 - 4:17 pm

By Marianne B in AZ October 6, 2017 - 7:22 pm
My plan for Christmas cards is always yup get them done before December. But, yeah…I don’t see that happening again this year! And, of course, since I don’t have to mail the one to my hubby, it is usually finished just before bedtime on Christmas eve! I have to do better this year!!
By Janet Mack October 6, 2017 - 7:34 pm

I don’t have any “official” holiday card making plans but I have been making Christmas cards all year long, started in January. I really do need to do a stock take to check just how many I have made and how many more are needed.
Thank You for the reminder and adding FUN to WCMD for us all 🙂
By Barbara Thompson October 6, 2017 - 8:16 pm

Great products. Looking forward to this evening to take part in World Card Making Day.
By Karen Page October 7, 2017 - 9:49 am
I always have the best of intentions to start early but if its like the last several years I’ll be rushing them out a week before! I tend to do one-offs rather than mass producing as I like to personalize and I get too bored with doing so many of the same design. I work better under pressure, so it usually works in my favor to procrastinate to some degree!
By Kelly Santi October 7, 2017 - 9:55 am
This year I’m trying something new and I’m making our family Christmas cards while helping my daughter’s students make theirs! We know that times are tough for some many of them so I’m volunteering to help all 20 students make packs of cards, one for each of the family members they chose (gramma, grampa, mom and dad, etc!) I’m super excited to see their little minds at work!
