Hi, Erica here today! I have a sweet little Picture Perfect Mini Album to share with you.
Build the Mini Album Base
Use 3-4 blank card bases for your mini album base. Take all the cards except for the card base you will use as your cover and trim off 0.25″ or more from each card. Make sure to fold them first then trim. Making the pages different sizes adds a little interest to each page and everything will close nicely once trimmed.
Next, take each card base and place one inside the other creating your mini album base.
There are a few different ways you can bind this type of album. You can stitch down the spine. use an elastic cord or a long-handled stapler. I used some binder clips to help hold my pages together while I used my stapler to bind them together.
Add 2-3 staples to the spine to bind your album together.
Decorate Your Pages
Use the E-Z Runner® Grand Dispenser to adhere pattern paper to each of the pages. I am using the Doodlebug Design Hello Again collection.
Once each page is covered in pattern papers you can go in and add pockets to some of your pages using the Crafty Foam Tape 108ft..
Trim down a piece of pattern paper to create a pocket. Add Craft Foam Tape 108ft. to the sides and bottom to create the pocket. This creates a perfect spot to add journal cards, tags, and more photos.
Create photo mats and adhere them to your mini album pages using the E-Z Runner® Grand Dispenser for a permanent hold. Embellish each page with ephemera. To add dimension use the 3D Foam Squares Mix in White.
The 3D Foam Squares give the die cuts just a little bit of lift without being bulky. You can layer them up for even more dimension.
The Dual Tip Glue Pen works great to adhere to the leaves for the floral ephemera. I add just a little bit of this wet adhesive to the ends of the leaves so I can still bend the die cut to give it some texture.
Finish it off with a fun bow and some enamel stickers! I hope you are inspired to create one of these quick and easy mini albums. Thanks for Visiting!
