Aloha y’all again, Lara here today! I traveled to Thailand in 2018 with my dad, stepmother, and three sisters. It was an amazing life-altering experience. Traveling with my sisters is always fun; we always laugh almost the whole time we are together. We live in three different states now so we don’t see each as often as I would like. This little travel folio was created with extra photos and the Safe Travels Collection. The great travel quotes were all handwritten with a black pen.

Travel Folio Base
Cut a piece of patterned paper to 8 3/8 x 12″. With the 8 3/8″ side facing up, core at 4 1/8″ and 4 1/4″. Next, flip the paper to the 12″ side facing up on the scoreboard and score at 2 1/2″. Burnish all the scored lines.

With the 8 3/8″ side facing up, cut the 4 1/8″ and 4 1/4″ score lines up to the 2 1/2″ score line intersects. Miter the pocket tab and fold the bottom left side to create the pocket. I trimmed the right side to 1/2″ to make a tab to attach the flip-up. I used cream cardstock so you can see my process.
Creating the Belly Band Closure
I cut a piece of 9 3/8 x 2″ paper to create the belly band and scored at 2 3/4, 2 7/8, 7, and 7 1/8″. Add line work and other embellishments (sticker and cut-out words). I also used an elastic cord and tied a loopy bow with a silky green ribbon. Using the E-Z Runner® Grand Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser I made sure the belly band fit with a tiny bit of give so I could take it off and put it back on. The words were adhered with the Dual Tip Glue Pen. I think these are two of the adhesives I use the most.

Designer’s Note: If unsure about committing your pages, I recommend the E-Z Runner® Grand Repositionable Dots Refillable Dispenser. It holds well, it will not move until you peel it off. Some paper crafters use this adhesive instead. Plus, it doesn’t damage the surfaces upon removal.
Travel Folio Flips and Pockets
Pictured are some of the flip-ups and pockets in the travel folio. Fold the 8 1/8 x 9″ pocket half and adhere with the E-Z Runner® Grand Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser to the bottom 1/2″ tab. Various embellishments and stamped images were added. It folds down to reveal a checklist and some more photos. I used the Adhesive Dots Small to stick down all the images.

I hope you create a great travel folio of a great vacation you enjoyed! Thanks for visiting!
