About Lara Scott

Aloha y’all…I was born in Hawaii and raised in several different states, including Colorado, Idaho and Utah but now I live in Texas. I spend a lot of time in my home studio with the air conditioning during the hot Texas summers. I am an artist, graphic designer, hand letterer (don’t know if I would consider myself an artist in this area yet) illustrator, stamper and paper crafter. Oh, and I forgot I love to grow plants and flowers, especially Gardenias and David Austin roses.

My design style is a mix of traditional and eclectic because I was a stamper before I was a scrapbooker and a tole painter before that but I love use any new mixed media product which is a contradiction, sort of like me. I have been on several design teams over the years and have had many of my designs featured in magazines, books, websites/blogs, tradeshows and on TV.
