Hi there,
it’s Stephanie here today with a easy Card for Spring with a paper flower you can create with small leftovers from scrapbook paper.
It goes really quick and clean and you need not much supplies.
Take some leftovers from scrapbook paper, a scissors and cardstock.
Cut out small pieces of paper for the petals.
Distress the edges of the petals with Distress Ink.
Use the E-Z Permanent Dots Refillable to adhere the petals. Adhere only the ends of the petals. The petals should be possible to separate itself to some.
Put some twine between them, which creates a lovely movement.
Use a half-pearl for the center of the bloom.
Now have some fun with watercolor. Paint the stem of the flower and sprinkle a little bit.
Finish the flower with a black and white pen to emphasize the edges and the petals. Add your sentiment. I used Rub-ons and put it on the leaf.
I used:
- Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Dots® Permanent – Refillable
- white Cardstock
- Scraps from paper “Decorative” from Delight Collection – Prima Marketing
- Distress Ink “vintage photo” – Tim Holtz Ranger
- Pearl “Trinkets & Baubles” from Melissa Frances
- Rub-on “Words” – Tim Holtz idea-ology
- Neocolor II
- Black Pen from Faber Castell, White Pen from Signo
Thanks for visiting today!

How clever I’m always looking for ways to use up scraps because of course we crafters never throw anything away I like the stem and leaf and I think the pearl pulls it all together have a great day!
