Hi, Judy here today! Sharing a tag that I put together with a collage sheet made with paper scraps, Adhesive Sheets 6 x 12 in., and Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Pastel Colors. The collage technique is easy and can be adapted to other projects. I previously posted a home decor piece called Joy Collage Frame Canvas made with same collage sheet. You can see it HERE.
Make Collage Frame Sheet
Cut a piece of white cardstock 6 x 12 inches. This will make a collaged sheet large enough for several projects. Apply Adhesive Sheets 6 x 12 in. to cardstock and rub well to transfer adhesive. Partially peel back the liner at one end and place assorted torn pieces of patterned paper on the adhesive. Allow small space between papers. Continue to peel back the liner and fasten the paper over the entire cardstock. Cut any extending pieces even with the edge.
Place a piece of pink foil from the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Pastel Colors over the collaged paper (color side facing you). Press/rub firmly to transfer foil to spaces between papers. Lift the foil away and repeat until all spaces are covered with the foil.
Assemble Tag
Use die cutting machine and tag die to cut a tag from heavy white cardstock.
Cut a piece of collaged sheet to fit the tag. Use E-Z Runner® Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser to apply adhesive to the back and attach it to the tag. Punch a hole through the collage piece
Add Verse
Use a computer to print verse on white cardstock and trim it to a narrow strip slightly shorter than the width of the tag.
Apply a piece of Premium Double-Sided Tape 1/8in at each end of the verse, peel the liners, and cover with pink foil from Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Pastel Colors (color side facing you). With your fingertip, rub well, and remove the foil sheet to reveal the fun!
Place Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix on the back of the verse strip, peel liners and fasten across the tag.
Add Seam Binding
Use Distress Inks to dye several pieces of white seam binding to coordinate with the collage. Cut three pieces of seam binding and one or two pieces of gold floss, thread through the hole in the tag, and tie.
Thanks for Visiting!
