Clip-on Gift Bag Cards

Hi, Connie here with a set of Clip-on Gift Bag Cards. I’m using a small cloth pin to attach the gift card to the gift bag. With that in mind, you could also clip the card to the gift (like a bag of chips)! The cards are mixed media style with buttons attached with the Adhesive Dots. Works so well!!!

The cards are 4×4 and are stamped using hand-carved stamps by me. Very fun to create with your own stamps :):):)

Creating the Gift Bag Card Background

I picked out some colors that coordinated together and stamped the white cardstock with a small grid (plaid) stamp. I did all four cards just rotating the ink colors. Then I used some mixed media type stamps and added more details to the background with black ink.

Assembling the Gift Bag Cards

1. On this card front I stamped a leaf image, three times, to create a branch and then adhered one leaf with 3D Foam Squares White Mix to add dimension.
2. Outline the focal image on all the cards with a black pen. On some of the cards, the image is adhered with the E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser.
3. Secure the word labels with the 3D Foam Strips on each clip-on gift card.
4. The buttons are adhered with Adhesive Dots Medium and Adhesive Dots Small.

5. Use Crafty Foam Tape Black 108′ to adhere the card front to the black cardstock mat.
6. Add the tape to all sides of the card front.
7. Add E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser to the black cardstock and adhere to the green card base.
8. Repeat on the remaining three cards. Speckle with white acrylic paint.
