Hi, Ali here today! I’m excited to share a winter-themed Magic of Winter Layout featuring the amazing E-Z Runner® Grand Refillable Dispenser. This adhesive is perfect for securing all those layers and helps create a beautifully dimensional layout without adding extra bulk.
Magic of Winter Layout Background
For this project, I used the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Fresh Snow collection. The “First Snow” paper was a fantastic foundation for that layering effect, but I wanted to enhance the depth with a chipboard frame. To attach my framed photo to the paper, I used a Crafty Foam Tape in White 54ft for added dimension.
Hi, Lara here, and today I have a great idea to put a small(?) dent in your paper stash. Work ahead to document your Valentine’s event with a Love Grid Valentine’s Page. Although some spacings aren’t perfect, I love how this page turned out. Most people don’t notice but I do…the struggles of a perfectionist. LOL!
Love Grid Design
Using a 2-inch square punch, I punched out a whole bunch of squares from multiple patterned papers. Next, I laid out the squares in a grid pattern on a 12 x 12-inch red cardstock. After determining my desired look, I adhere them with the E-Z Runner® Petite Permanent Dots Refillable Dispenser.
Final Touches
Grab a few die-cut shapes that would be perfect with the theme, in this case, I chose a lacey doily and some delicate floral motifs. I adhered them with the E-Z Runner® Petite Permanent Dots Refillable Dispenser. Add the sentiment strip using 3D Foam Squares White Mix. I drew lines on white cardstock for a photo placeholder and journal spot. I used the Dual Tip Glue Pen to adhere the gold half pearls.
Hi, Judy here today! I can hardly believe it’s the end of January already! That means Valentine’s Day is just around the corner so I put together this Valentine Heart Collage Card. Pretty Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Variety Colors, and 3D Foam Hearts really make this card shine!
Cut Papers for the Heart Collage Card
From white cardstock, cut these pieces:
6.25 x 9.5 inches, score and fold to form a 4.75 x 6.25 inch card
4.75 x 6 inches, embossed with an embossing folder and die-cutting machine, and then trimmed to 4.375 x 5.75 inches
1.875 x 2 inches for the greeting.
Cut these pieces from black cardstock:
4.75 x 6 inches, use postage collage cover die with die-cutting machine to cut collage frame from it
4.5 x 5.875 inches mat
2 x 2.125 inches for the greeting mat.
Assemble the Heart Collage Frame
On the back side of the postage collage frame, apply 3D Foam Strips. Peel liners and attach the collage frame over the embossed panel. Use the E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable Dispenser to apply adhesive to the back and secure it to the black mat. Then apply adhesive to the back and place it on the card front.
Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside with Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets and 3D Foam Hearts
Take small and medium hearts from 3D Foam Hearts and randomly place them in all outer openings of the collage frame (not the center). Peel the liner from one heart and cover it with magenta or purple foil from Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Variety Colors. Make sure the color is facing you. Continue to peel the liners from the hearts, alternating magenta and purple foils to cover all hearts.
Create the Greeting
Stamp greeting with black ink on white cardstock. Use E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable Dispenser to apply adhesive to the back and attach it to the black mat. Then roll the adhesive along the back edges and secure it over the center of the collage on the card front. Place a small heart from 3D Foam Hearts on the greeting, peel the liner, and apply the foil.
Hi, everyone! Looking for a simple gift to give to your besties? Teri here to show you how to make a super cute gift tag, Furever Friend Gift Tags, to tie onto a tube of candy!
These tags are a great way to add a personal touch to a small gift of sweetness! They are great for Valentine’s Day or any other day during the year when you just want to give your friends an extra reason to smile!
Make the Tag Base and Frame
Start by cutting a large rectangle from cardstock and patterned paper. Make a frame to place on top of the large rectangles by cutting another rectangle and a smaller one out of it.
Stack and adhere the solid rectangles together. If you want your tag to be sturdier, cut a couple more rectangles from cardstock and add them to your stack.
Stamp, color and die-cut a couple of small images to use on your tag. Set them aside. Set your frame on your rectangle stack so part of it is exposed. Place your images on it for placement. Do not adhere them! Stamp a sentiment on your stacked rectangle so it can be seen through the frame’s opening.
Generously apply Crafty Foam Tape to the back of your frame. Don’t be shy! Cut it into smaller pieces if you need to. Adhere your frame to your stacked rectangle.
Decorate Your Tag
Take your images and arrange them so they can go across your frame opening. Flip them over. Apply E-Z Runner® Petite Dots Refillable to them to hold them together. Add small pieces of foam tape where the images will not touch your frame. Adhere your images to your tag.
Pump up your design’s cute factor by adding a couple of 3D Foam Hearts. Apply foil to them. I find it’s best to set your foil down (pretty side up) on your foam shapes one shape at a time. Firmly burnish your Metallic Transfer Foil onto the shape until the shape is completely covered with foil. Miss a spot? That’s OK. Set the foil back on the shape and apply more foil.
Use a hole punch to poke a hole in the top of your rectangles, turning them into a tag. Wrap jute around a tube of candy. Add your tag. If your tag is not hanging as you want it to, add a small square of Crafty Foam Tape White to the bottom of it.
A Few Closing Words and Suggestions for Changing the Design
I hope you are inspired by today’s tutorial to make a few of these to give your friends. Remember, you can save time by changing up the design! Rather than placing foam tape under your stamped images, just adhere them to your tag with a flat adhesive like the E-Z Runner® Permanent Refillable Dispenser. Consider using small embellishments, like sequins and Adhesive Dots Micro, rather than using 3D Foam Shapes.
This is a clean and simple (CAS) design, sure, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a bit of fun with the Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside technique! I began by ink-blending the edge of the card panel with some gorgeous colors to create a border.
Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside with E-Z Runner Petite Dots Permanent and Foil
Stamped the black floral image over the inked background. Next, apply my E-Z Runner® Petite Permanent Dots Refillable Dispenser to the flower. I did each section at a time so I could foil different gorgeous Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Pastel Colors to each section. Simply take a piece of lavender foil with the color side facing you and rub over the adhesive to transfer the color. Repeat the foiling steps with the green foil to the stem and leaves.
Don’t you just love how the foil offers a bit of shine and color? Plus a bonus of a ton of visual texture, making it a super interesting way to ‘color’ your image?!
Next, I added the Dotted Floral Card Panel to my card base using my trusty Crafty Foam Tape White 54ft. for some pop. Lastly, add a simple stamped and die-cut sentiment with the 3D Foam Strips for extra dimension. I hope you try this out! It doesn’t take long to create a gorgeous and interesting card!
Documenting social media posts and my son’s trip to Japan inspired my Solo Trip Scrapbook Layout today. Hi, Margie here, and I’d like to share some out-of-the-box ideas with you. Maybe you can use them in your next layout.
Create the Solo Trip Layout Base
Fussy cut out the inside of the airplane window with detailed scissors. Place the 8 x 10 in. photo collage of my son’s social media posts behind the opening and secure it with the Crafty Power Tape Polybag 81ft.
Using the same Crafty Power Tape Polybag 81ft., I matted a small photo with patterned paper, and later, a piece of 12 x 12 in. patterned paper to finish.
Split two sticker squares to make one square. Designer’s Note: I used a 3D foam leftover liner to help with placement. I added a strip of Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4in. and foiled with a piece of platinum foil from the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Nature Colors to cover the edges. Remove the top liner, place the foil on top (color side facing you), and gently rub to transfer the color. Peel off to reveal the shine!
Creative Photo Corner Border
I layered the foiled border by linking cut Creative Photo Corners Silver for texture. Simply cut off the black liner and tuck the corners into each other to form a line. Continue until you get the length of the sticker square. Since it has adhesive on the back just place it on top of the foiled border. Also, I added a row in the upper right corner where I’ll add a title later.
Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside with Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets and Stamps
Cut a piece of 3D Foam Creative Sheets Small White just enough for your stamp images. With a piece of platinum foil from the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Nature Colors. Remove a top liner, place the foil on top (color side facing you), and gently rub the foil to transfer the color. Peel off the foil to reveal a shiny accent! Reapply foil in missed areas.
I thought I would try and stamp on foil…and it worked out! Use ink like Staz-On to keep the image on the slick surface. To get a good image, I stamped twice (my ink pad might be a little dry). Give it a few moments to dry before die-cutting.
In case you were wondering, I did a heat embossing on a scrap piece. The foam doesn’t lose its shape, but the foil gives a matte or soft textured background and dries the ink. Hope you can see from the image below…it’s hard to photograph.
Assemble the Solo Trip Layout
After die-cutting the compass, remove the liner to place it on the sticker square cluster. Next, place the square in the upper left corner of the layout. Next, stamp and die-cut the geo marker like the compass. Add it to the location in the lower right corner photo
Die-cut the word, “SOLO”, with patterned paper and pop them up with the 3D Foam Strips in White on the upper right corner of the layout. Die-cut the word “TRIP” with patterned paper and adhere it with the E-Z Dots® Repositionable Refillable Dispenser. When you roll the adhesive over the letter, it hits only the back of the letters. If the word is crooked, you can always peel it off, straighten it out and it stays on! I’ve done this three times – lol! Love this adhesive…you have the right to change your mind….er, design! HAHAHAHA!!
What a fun event to document for my son…his first business trip and a week with my family all in Japan! I hope my Solo Trip Layout inspires you to document a trip – business or pleasure!

Love is in the air! It’s Ali here today and I am excited to share this Be My Valentine Layout with you featuring the 3D Foam Strips to bring dimension to my journaling word strip stickers.
Be My Valentine Back Story
Celebrating Galentine’s Day in Chicago at the beautiful London House! We had a delightful afternoon tea filled with laughter, and those heart-shaped macaroons were the perfect sweet treat!
Be My Valentine Details
For my scrapbook layout, I used last year’s Valentine’s Day collection from Simple Stories and some heart cutouts from my Cameo. Following an Allison Davis sketch, I put this fun page together with the E-Z Runner® Grand Refillable Dispenser.
The 3D Foam Strips add dimension to my journaling sticker word strips — they really make the words pop! I love that! Also, a combination of the 3D Foam Squares White Mix and Crafty Foam Tape in White 54ft. were placed behind the heart and chocolate stickers for an extra touch and interest.
Wishing everyone a Valentine’s Day full of sweet treats and lovely memories! Thanks for visiting!
Hi everyone, Yvonne here with an adorable Special Delivery Baby Card. This card screams cuteness with pastel colors, lace die-cut, and a sweet bear digi stamp.
This card is fairly easy to create and with the uplifted elements it looks so luxurious…it’s meant for that special baby born. I would love to share how I made my card. Wanna join me?
Special Delivery Card Panel
Print a cute digi stamp onto watercolor paper. Color it with ink and a waterbrush. Let the image dry thoroughly. Next, trim it to fit a blue die-cut card panel and secure it with the stamped panel using the E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser.
Die-cut and emboss a white lacy card panel to fit the layered blue panel. Adhere a blue satin ribbon across the bottom half of the lacy panel with the E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser. Leave the ribbon ends out.
Next, apply strips of Crafty Foam Tape 108ft to the back of the blue panel to center onto the white lacy panel. This gives a subtle dimension to your Special Delivery Baby Card.
I love how this card turned out…matching colors in the layers, the coloring, and the satin ribbon create a professional and luxurious look to this Special Delivery Baby Card! A wonderful way to congratulate the newly born’s parents and family. Wishing you happy crafting!
Hi, Lara here to share a Valentine’s Day project, Love Heart Pocket Tag. I recently saw a large double-sided pocket tag but wanted something that would be a journal spot for a scrapbook page or a gift tag. You could leave a little note and a gift card, which would make a great gift. So, let me share my process!
This tag was created with patterned paper cut to 3.5 x 7.5″ but you could make it any size you wanted to fit your project. I think it would look great on a 12 x 12″ scrapbook page.
Love Heart Pocket Base
My tag was about 3.5″ wide so I cut the pocket out of white cardstock to the height I wanted + 3/4″ and about 1″ wider. Make it a tiny bit wider so when the sides are folded, they would lay flat. The sides are scored at 1/2″ and the bottom is scored at 3/4″. Secure the three sides to form a pocket with Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4in. and wrap it around the bottom of the Love Heart Pocket tag.
Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside with 3D Foam Creative Sheet & Electric Cutting Machine
I cut out a heart shape from the 3D Foam Creative Sheets Small White and added the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Pastel Colors in Pink to the front. I think this product could create some amazing looks with shapes cut out with dies from a manual die cut machine. I thought about trying to cut on an electronic cutter using a deep-depth blade.
Journal Notecard
Cut a piece of white cardstock to fit inside the pocket. Then, stamp the love image with pink ink, add clear embossing powder, and heat emboss it. Lastly, I added some line work with a black pen around the notecard.
Adhesives used to create this project:
I think this would make a great journaling block for a scrapbook page. What would you use this tag for? I hope this Love Heart Pocket Tag inspires you to make some for your project.
