Floral Tag with Tissue Tape

Hi everyone, Christine here today with a floral gift tag. I’m not quite ready to give up on Summer and welcome Autumn hence the bright flowers!

I firstly attached patterned paper to a tag using E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable. NOTE: you can refill these dispensers with whatever E-Z adhesive you prefer. They are all interchangeable. Once affixed to the tag – trim and punch a hole.

Across the bottom I affixed two horizontal strips of Tissue Tape. So easy to apply and if it doesn’t look quite straight it is easy to lift and reapply.

To embellish my tag I stamped a sentiment and die cut some stamped flowers. These are positioned and affixed with 3D Foam Squares – White, Regular.

Cut two lengths of Twine, I chose the navy and natural as it coordinated so well. Insert through the punched hole and tied.

How to Create a Monogram Tag

I had a tag that was pink…now I like pink but this color did not speak to me. LOL! So I covered it with tissue tape in Denim – who doesn’t love denim? It would be the perfect background to what I had in mind.

This tag is dedicated to my sweet friend, Ellen, who I will always remember her wearing blue jeans, boots and a cowgirl hat…she was my hip friend. We lost her this past weekend to a tragic house fire. Will miss her…

I covered this tag with Tissue Tape. This tape is forgiving….if you missed a spot, you can pick up the tape and re-do.

Next I tinted Art Medium with Pigment Powder Gold. Add a little water to make a little more liquidity (is that a word? lol!). Then I painted on to a piece of 6″ strip o White Burlap – this will not only stiffen the ribbon but it gives it a beautiful golden color. Let dry (I let it dry overnite).

When the gold burlap dried, I die-cut a letter “E” using my steel rule die and manual die-cutting machine. I also die-cut two different sizes of my labels die to frame the initial. I used the Dual Tip Glue Pen to adhere the letter to the small label and for the small label, 3D Foam Squares – White, Regular.

Set the die cuts aside to work on the bottom of the tag to create a layered border using Lace Ribbons and Twine in Navy. I used Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/8″ Permanent and Dodz Adhesive Dots Mini to secure all on the tag.

Using the bottom border as a guide, I adhered the layered die cut with E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser to the center of the tag. Then I tied a knot with the Lace Ribbons in Crocheted Lace Trim to finish.

Hoppy Halloween Card using E-Z Runner® Grand

Hola! Happy Saturday! We are currently awaiting a storm they are deeming the “storm of the century” in our area, a PERFECT day to craft! I have this adorable Halloween card to share, using our E-Z Runner® Grand Dispenser to put it all together.

I have recently decided I am loving coloring again. I go through cycles of not enjoying it, maybe it’s because I have a extremely small collection of markers…

To start, I stamped and colored my cute focal image, and adhered it to my card base using the E-Z Runner® Grand Dispenser. Then stamped some star accents randomly on the top area of the card base.

ajotto-hoppyhalloween-3 Add a couple of patterned paper strips for a pop of color. Make the sentiment dimensional by adhering with 3D Foam Squares – White, Small. For the finishing touch, add a few sequins using the Dual Tip Glue Pen.

Embellish a Pencil Treat Holder with Premium Double-Sided Tape and Lace Ribbons

With Halloween quickly approaching, I decided to create a fun set of treat containers to hold pencils. Using a pillow box die cut and embellishing with Premium Double-Sided Tape and Lace Ribbons, you can make it your own. Let me show you!

Halloween Pencil Holder by Latisha Yoast for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

Instructions:

Die-cut patterned paper using a pillow box die.
Trim part of the front off to support the pencils when added.
Adhere the pillow box closed using Premium Double Sided Tape 1/4″.
Fill with pencils.
Adhere the Lace Ribbons (the wider ribbon and then layer the loopy trim) to the front of container with Premium Double Sided Tape 1/4″.
Place two strips of Premium Double Sided Tape 1/4″ onto the front of the containers, remove the covering and sprinkle glitter onto it.
Die-cut a circle, ink to add color to the die cut and punch a hole on top to make a tag. Stamp a sentiment and then attach to the project with Twine.

Whale Done Card

Hello! It’s Amy here with a card that has a smidge of watercoloring. I’ve been really enjoying the watercoloring trend.

I popped the whale on 3D Foam Squares White Mix.

I used E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable on the various panels of paper. I ran out and wanted to share a pic of how to refill the E-Z Runner. You open the case and literally lift out the empty cartridge and pop in a new one…easy smeasy.

Fall Thank You Card

Hi crafty friends! It’s Lisa on the blog again and in most places the air is starting to turn cooler. Unless you live where *I* do…Nevada. I’m still in shorts. Which is why making Fall cards still keeps me dreaming of beautiful, cool, colorful Autumn days. Let me show you what I made today:

Fall Thank You card by Lisa Adametz

This card may look complicated, but it’s very easy to replicate.

Add patterned paper to the base card at the same size. Adhere using E-Z Runner® Ultra Refillable Dispenser.
Adhere Premium Double-Sided Tape 1″ towards left side of card. Lift off release paper and use Pigment Powder in Brown and burnish with soft brush (or finger) onto tape. Next to tape add a piece of Tissue Tape. I elected to use the Ash wood grain.
Die cut patterned paper and a piece of white cardstock. Stamp the sentiment from copper embossing powder. Be certain to stamp slightly left of center since the right side of the piece will be cut off.
Using the Brown, Gold, and the Wine Pigment Powders burnish color into the 3D Foam Leaves. When done, place onto the white die cut piece. Also, add orange embossing powder to another leaf and VERY carefully emboss the leaf (you don’t want to melt the foam). Add this one to the white cardstock, too.
Add 3D Foam Squares – White, Regular to the back of the white die cut piece and place on top of the patterned paper piece.
For additional texture and to make the card look a little more feminine add a bit of Crochet Lace Trim at the bottom of the card. Secure with E-Z Runner® Ultra Refillable Adhesive. And tie a bit of Twine around the ribbon and fasten in a bow.

Creating a Card with Dimensional Layers using Craft Foam Tape

Good morning friends! Michele here with a card today that required no stamping at all! Just beautiful papers, dimensional foam adhesive and a few pretty embellishments. I cut the various designer papers and backed them with brown card stock using Crafty Foam Tape in White.

I tied silk ribbon horizontally and adhered a sunflower to the center using Home Hobby Dual Tip G lue Pen. I also used this glue to adhere glitter to the perimeter of the sentiment, as well as the gold leaves under the ribbon. fall8

I added various sequins and the little birdie with Dodz Adhesive Dots Small. This was a quick easy card to make! Just a bit of glitter and some pretty embellishments is all this card needed! fall7better

DIY Holiday Peace Mini Canvas with 3D Creative Foam Sheets

Hello blog friends! I’m thinking of Christmas! I know it’s a bit early but I enjoy making holiday things early in the season so I’m not as rushed. I’ve put together a Holiday Peace Mini Canvas to share with you today.

DIY Holiday Peace Mini Canvas with 3D Creative Foam Sheets by Judy Hayes for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

I started with a 4 x 4ʺ burlap canvas. Across the top and bottom are plaid and dot pattern papers to which I’ve added faux stitch lines with a brown marker. I used E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable Dispenser to fasten papers together and Home Hobby Extreme Double-Sided Tape ½ʺ to fasten them to the canvas. Extreme Double-Sided Tape holds really well even on the burlap! At the top, I added a piece of Lace Ribbons with ink rubbed into it. It’s fastened with Extreme Double-Sided Tape ⅛ʺ. Twine is fastened in back on each side with Extreme Double-Sided Tape ½ʺ.

For “peace”, Kraft cardstock was applied to one side of white 3D Foam Creative Sheets. Then it was die cut. The 3D Foam Creative Sheets compresses through a die cut machine yet retains its dimension after cutting. It’s really easy to cut! Plus it has an adhesive backing! It holds well on the burlap. I’ve rubbed ink over “peace” die cut and around edges of canvas.

I formed a small wreath with wired pine string, bells and twine knot. It hangs from the loop of the “e”. Small pieces of Extreme Double-Sided Tape ⅛ʺ hold it in place on the canvas.

I finished the canvas on the back as well with a piece of Kraft cardstock fastened with Extreme Double-Sided Tape ⅛ʺ along edges.

This is a quick holiday project! A nice accent for a centerpiece or table display!

Fall Is Here Card + WCMD Winner!

Fall is here in Chicago and I am excited!! So why not create a card just for the occasion? The newest release (E-Z Runner® Ultra Refillable Dispenser and E-Z Runner® Micro Refillable Dispenser) is perfect to hold my layered card and in assembling my small envelope element.

These are the supplies I used in addition to my Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® items…

My flower embellishment, I layered two die cuts with Dodz Adhesive Dots 3D in the center. Next I took each petal on top (orange) and pinch to create a mountain. Underneath I placed a 3D dot to support.

To add interest and dimension, I embossed both the card base and my envelope element – turned out cool!

I assembled the envelope with my E-Z Runner® Micro Refillable Dispenser – perfect to apply adhesive on narrow tabs. Later I inked the edges to the envelope.

Going back to the flower, I threaded twine in Natural through the wooden button and placed on the flower center with a Dodz Adhesive Dots 3D. Then placed another 3D dot on the back of the finished flower and adhered to the envelope.

I had a fall leaf eyelet which I had to use! Next I stamped a sentiment on the top half of a rectangle die cut, edge it with ink and placed a Dodz Adhesive Dots Medium on the front and back to secure inside the envelope.

This is how it turned out – LOVE!!

To give a subtle edge/finish to my layers I inked the edges of all (including the card base). Wanted a playful look so I tilted the layers and adhered all with E-Z Runner® Ultra Refillable Dispenser for a strong and secure hold.

For the finishing touch, I added sequins to the card front using Dodz Adhesive Dots Mini which is perfect for small embellishments like these!
