Festive Mini Cards with Pigment Powder

Hi everyone, Christine here today.  I’ve put together a couple of CAS festive mini cards, ideal for batch making at Christmas and that jolly season will be here sooner than you think!

cemberson-mini-cas-1

Onto a die cut square I used a light watercolor paint.

I used two colors – blue and gold and stamped a sentiment over the top.

cemberson-mini-cas-3

I then selected coordinating color card mats and affixed in place with E-Z Runner Permanent Strips Refillable.

cemberson-mini-cas-4

I used strips of Crafty Foam Tape to mount these onto mini card bases.  You can cut this to whatever length you desire and removing the backing is effortless.

Using Adhesives Sheets on Intricate Die Cuts for my Autumn Hello Card

Today I am sharing my autumn themed card and how Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Adhesive Sheets 4 x 6″ saved me time and frustration on placing my intricate die cuts on my projects. Let me show you how!

Autumn Hello Card Using Adhesive Sheet by Margie Higuchi for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

Recently I have been addicted to mono printing using a gel plate and ink pads (paint are the usual medium but I had to be different! LOL!) to make my own patterned papers. I show one of the patterns I will be using…

margiehiguchi-500wm-autumnhellocard-091716-stepb

For the die cuts, I first trimmed my paper to size and applied the Adhesive Sheets 4 x 6″ on the back. I took off the thin border liner and used it as my guide to place my paper. Then took off the liner little by little and rubbed it to cover the back the patterned paper. Perfect coverage!

margiehiguchi-500wm-autumnhellocard-091716-step1-collage

Next I die cut my intricate die designs and “hello” word (repeat the same process with green cardstock in a small size).

margiehiguchi-500wm-autumnhellocard-091716-step2

Trim the green cardstock and other patterned paper to created a matted card panel to fit an A7-sized card base. I used E-Z Runner® Ultra Refillable Dispenser as my patterned paper was warped. I love that it adheres down flat 🙂

margiehiguchi-500wm-autumnhellocard-091716-step6

margiehiguchi-500wm-autumnhellocard-091716-step7

Figure out the placement of the die cuts and then take off the liner to adhere…I started with “Hello” and worked on the edge.

margiehiguchi-500wm-autumnhellocard-091716-step8

I used Dual Tip Glue Pen to adhere my cute acorn die cuts and used E-Z Runner® Ultra Refillable Dispenser to center the embellished card panel onto my card base.

margiehiguchi-500wm-autumnhellocard-091716-step9

Isn’t it adorable?! Loved how it turned out and without fighting with the adhesive = EASY!!

Another Cup of Coffee Card

amy-tsuruta-another-cup-1

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  It’s Amy here with a coffee card.  For those that follow my blog, you know how much I adore coffee and coffee cards.  Here’s a peek at my original supplies that I was going to use:

another-cup-amy-tsuruta-2

Next up is my card base.  I’m a huge fan of blank white note cards.  I then cut a base panel to fit.  I use my trusty E-Z Runner® Grand Dispenser to adhere the panel to the base.

Next up is the banner:

Since I used watercolor cardstock, I tend to burnish the E-Z Runner® Grand Dispenser adhesive with a bone folder.

I finished off my design with Thin 3D Foam Squares – Mix White.

I always like to add a bit of dimension to my cards.  Here’s the finished design:

How to Assemble Fall Treat Bag with Premium Double Sided Tape

0916ly-foryoutreatbag2

There is only about 10 days left of summer, so that means fall is literally right around the corner.  I love making little treat bags, either to store cash, a gift card or candy, they truly are the perfect way to give a gift.

Diecut pattern paper from a bag die, you will need two.  Use Premium Double Sided Tape 1/4″ to adhere together.

Humorous Birthday Card featuring 3D Foam Squares

Hi crafty friends! It’s Lisa back on the blog to share a funny card that I made for my dad’s birthday coming up. My dad has the best sense of humor of anyone I know so I figured if I made him a funny card — he’d really love it! He says he loves everything I make (parents kind of *have* to, don’t they?) but I like to make their cards extra special.

lisaadametz-holyship-09112016-1

I used a lot of watercolors to color the images. For dimension I like to use the Thin 3D Foam Squares Mix – White and also the 3D Foam Squares – White Mix. Since there is a lot going on with this card, I want the different layers to be at different heights. Even the smallest foam square can be cut and tucked where you might need it. I did just that and tucked them behind the waves. Works like a charm. The Thin 3D Foam Squares I used behind the cloud and Life Saver Ring.

Speaking of that Life Saver Ring. I thought it would be cute to add a little bit of twine in Navy for a little bit of interest and additional color. How else could you throw it overboard, right? 😉

For everything else that’s not adhered with a 3D Foam Square? I used my fave adhesive: the E-Z Runner® Ultra Refillable Dispenser.

Here’s a close-up of the coloring, waves, and mermaid’s tail:

And an alternate view of the card:

lisaadametz-holyship-09112016-3

I hope that seeing the card in different ways like this gives you a better idea of how it was created. VERY easy to do. All you need…is the right adhesives!! 🙂

Fall Leaves in Two Ways with 3D Foam Leaves

fall2

Good morning! Michele here with a fall card done almost identically, except the color choices! I used the 3D Foam Leaves and randomly placed them on a 3 x 3 piece of card stock.  I sponged ink around the leaves in shades of orange, yellow and red.  I peeled each of the leaves and sprinkled them with glitter.  I used Dodz Adhesive Dots – Mini to adhere all of the sequins as well as the vellum sentiment.

fall5

For my second card I went in a totally different direction with the colors….something quite “unfall” like! 😉 I tied coordinating twine vertically to each card.  All of the layers were adhered with Crafty Foam Tape in white.

Which card do you prefer?  The pastel color scheme or the fall colors?

Scrapbooking Page “At the Sea” with Keepsake Envelope

Hi there, it’s Stephanie here today with another scrapbook page on which I feature Keepsake Envelopes Mix. Those envelopes are so perfect for your findings and treasures.

Stephanie_Layout_1

Let me show you how I created this layout.

Stephanie_Layout_2

1. First I gathered together some papers matching my colors in the photos I want to scrap. I also wanted to use some stickers and wood embellishments birds.

2. I decided to adhere some paper scraps horizontal to take up the landscape of the sea on my photos. I used the E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable.

3. Some scraps were torn and some were cut with scissors.

4. Then I added my photos in a horizontal line with the E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable.

Stephanie_Layout_3

5. I added some wooden birds onto my page by using also the E-Z Dots® Permanent  Refillable.

6. Then I prepared my Keepsake Envelope from the Keepsake Envelopes Mix. I used it for my stones and shellfish I found at this place. The Keepsake Envelopes Mix offers you different sizes to choose the right one for your findings and treasures.

7. I added some stripes of washi tape.

8. Finishing touches with alpha stickers and some embellishments.

Masculine Birthday Card with 3D Foam Squares and 3D Foam Creative Sheets

Hello everyone!  I have a masculine birthday card to share that has a very vintage worn look. I’ve used 3D Foam Creative Sheets and 3D Foam Squares to pop up some elements.  I like the visual depth and interest created by raising some pieces!

Masculine Birthday Card by Judy Hayes for Scrapbok Adhesives by 3L Blog

The gold frame, clock, arrow, hand and birthday label all have some dimension.  To make the gold frame, I placed the craft foil on a piece of 3D Foam Creative Sheets Black before I die cut it. Because the foam compresses as it goes through a die cut machine, it’s easy to cut, but it pops right back up!  The 3D Foam Creative Sheets give the frame thickness plus an adhesive backing so it’s just like a sticker. I used the frame over a stamped collage that’s been rubbed with Distress inks. It’s fastened to black cardstock with E-Z Runner® Ultra Permanent Refillable Dispenser.  It was also used to fasten it to the card which was stamped and rubbed with Distress inks.  It’s really sticky and sticks over Distress ink.

The arrow, clock face and hand were stamped, fussy cut and popped up with 3D Foam Squares – Regular, Black cut to fit as needed.   Happy birthday was stamped and free hand cut to form label and then fastened with E-Z Runner® Ultra Permanent Refillable Dispenser to red mat. It’s fastened to the card with 3D Foam Squares.   The cut outs from the gold frame (a narrow strip and tiny triangle) were used as accents. Even though small, they were so easy to fasten because of 3D Foam Creative Sheets backing!

Happy creating with dimension!

Pocket Cards with Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4″

It’s Erica and today I’m sharing a set of school-themed pocket cards I created using our strongest tape – Extreme Double Sided Tape 1/4″.

For many of us school starts tomorrow which means first day of school pictures to scrapbook. And if you’re like me you’re behind and haven’t even documented last years pictures yet. That’s okay! Take inspiration from my pocket cards below, create a set of your own and then you’ll be ready to document this year as soon as  you print your pictures!

Pocket Cards with Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4″ by Erica Houghton for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

I created eight 3″x4″ cards and two 4″x6″ cards that are ready to be inserted into my pocket card page protectors. Not a pocket card scrapbooker? No worries, these cards can easily be used as embellishments on traditional layout too.

I used our Extreme Double Sided Tape 1/4″ to adhere multiple paper layers together, as well as the embellishments, including the leaves (I used a piece of 3D Foam Creative Sheets Mix to adhere the flowers).

Pocket Cards with Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4″ by Erica Houghton for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

Not only is our Extreme Double Sided Tape 1/4″ strong, it’s perfect for adhering smaller piece of paper, die cuts and embellishments. I used it to adhere the gold stars, and banner and label die cuts, just to name a few.

Hi everyone, Christine here today with a masculine tag featuring Washi Tape, plus other fabulous different adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®.

First of all, take a regular luggage tag and let’s create a series of vertical strips.

CEmberson - Man Tag 5

Position and affixed in place with Crafty Foam Tape – White.

CEmberson - Man Tag 6

Twine tied twice with a bow for extra embellishment.
