Hello everyone! Kimberly here today with a beautiful Christmas gift. One that is perfect to give anyone in your life! These ornaments are elegant, classy, and ridiculously easy to create with the fabulous adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and stunning ribbon from May Arts.
Let’s start with the wrapping of the gift. I created this box by hand and held it securely together with Crafty Power Tape. The outside is a simple sleeve of green chevron paper. To keep the sleeve in place, I used gorgeous, thick red metallic ribbon from May Arts.
And the inside of the box…three beautiful ornaments! These are so simple to create. Take a look at the steps below.
Grab ornaments of any kind, color, style. Wipe them clean with rubbing alcohol. It removes any oil from finger prints and other resides that could stop the adhesive from staying put. Then pick out die templates with images you desire. And grab your trusty 4×6″ Adhesive Sheets.
Die cut the adhesive sheet with the die template, using a manual die cutting machine.
I found it easiest to remove the yellow backing and then apply it to the ornament. Smooth the die cut image out, making sure the adhesive is completely on the ornament surface. Peel off the white backing slowly.
Tip: Peel each spoke of the snowflake towards the center, one at a time. Then remove the entire piece.
Touch the surface of the exposed adhesive with gold foil. Repeat until you have the coverage desired.
The finished ornament. And then I noticed the not-so-pretty ribbon that came with the ornament. That was never going to do. May Arts has so many lovely ribbons, I found one that was perfect! Now the gifts were complete!
There you have it. A simple and beautiful gift ready to give for Christmas. Or, you could always just make them for your own tree! 😉
thanks for stopping by!
