Hi, everyone! Do you struggle with making masculine cards? Teri here to show you how I made a masculine birthday card with dinosaurs on it…a FUN + Rawrsome Dinosaur Birthday Card!
Creating the Elements and Making the Card Base
Start by stamping, coloring in, and die-cutting a couple of dinosaur and dino-related images. To give them a birthday look, stamp and die-cut a few party hats too.
Assemble together the party hats with the dinosaur and dino-related images. Embellish the images by adding wiggle eyes to them. If your image doesn’t have a face, use a pen to draw a smile on it!
Adhere two panels of patterned paper to a card base. Stamp a sentiment on a strip of cardstock. Add some hearts (or stars) to the bottom of it. Mount the strip across your card. Start adding your other stamped images to it.
Completing the Card by Adding Some Extra Details
Make some of your images stand out by placing foam squares on the back. I like to use a mixture of square sizes to ensure the entire image is covered and has support. Add your images to the card.
Embellish the card by adding some sequins to it. Use photo corners to add a border to create some additional visual interest to the card.
Want to make a card just like mine but don’t have the same stamps I used? That’s alright! Dig into your stash and use the images you have! Use my card and techniques for inspiration and make a card truly your own.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you are inspired to make a masculine birthday card of your own!
Happy creating!
