Colorful Happy Scrapbook Layout Ideas

There were a ton of thin strips left over from a previous project that I just could not toss out. I thought of a few creative ways to use them on projects and I want to share a quick and easy one with you today! I started with a piece of 11 x 11″ white textured cardstock and matted it onto a black patterned paper.

Using my E-Z Runner® Micro Refillable Dispenser, I apply it to the center back of each patterned paper strip. This adhesive is perfect as the double-sided tape is 1/8″ wide. Once all the strips of pattern paper were adhered, I matted my photo onto some pattern paper using the E-Z Runner® Grand Permanent Dots and then popped the photo up with Crafty Foam Tape 108ft in Black.

Embellish the Happy Colorful Scrapbook Layout

Now that my main design elements are down it is time to add some fun and colorful embellishments along with my title. I used pieces from the Bella Blvd Birthday Bash collection along with a few puffy stickers from the Bella Besties. To adhere the embellishments down I used some of the 3D Foam Squares Mix in White and my favorite Dual Tip Glue Pen.

This Colorful and Happy Scrapbook Layout was so fun to put together and l love how colorful it turned out! This is a great way to use up some of the paper scraps you may have in your stash! The E-Z Runner® Micro Refillable Dispenser is the perfect adhesive to get those strips stuck down to any project!
