Colourful Wreath Layout Using My E-Z Runner Dispenser

Hey there! Tracy McLennon here sharing a sweet Colourful Wreath Layout I created with just a few of my faves from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®.

Here are my trusty side kicks for most of my layouts that I create. 3D Foam Squares Black Regular E-Z Runner® Permanent and Dodz Adhesive Dots Mini.

The E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips is perfect for adhering smaller pieces like these leaves. I added adhesive just to the base of each leaf allowing the tips to naturally lift a little.

My go to adhesive for buttons are my Dodz Adhesive Dots Mini and as always I popped my photo using 3D Foam Squares Black Regular.

Thanks for stopping by and get crafting!

Watercolors, Dodz, and Crafty Foam Tape!

Good morning friends! Michele here with a water colored card full of die cuts, texture paste and gold embossing powder! And of course no card would be complete without the right adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®! For the background, texture paste spread through a wood grain stencil and sprinkled with gold embossing powder provides a pretty backdrop. Love it!

Next I water colored the flower with water colors and added a few details with a white gel pen.  The flowers and leaves were adhered with varying amounts of Crafty Foam Tape. One layer of tape on the small flower and the larger flower has two layers.

Sequins were adhered using Dodz Adhesive Dots Mini. They are so much easier to use than drippy, messy glue!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Happy Wedding Card using Adhesive Dots and 3D Foam Squares

Happy weekend! I’ve got the privilege of attending a wedding this weekend so I decided to create a card to give the happy couple.  Although as you’ll see the card does not have to be for a wedding…it could work for several themes!

Happy Wedding Card using Adhesive Dots and 3D Foam Squares by Christine Meyer for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

In order to add a variety of techniques and elements to this I needed to utilize multiple adhesives.

Happy Card Making!

The E-Z Runner® Grand Dispenser has quickly become an absolute favorite for me.  It’s perfect for all your normal adhering, loads easily, and is sturdy.  I used it to add my first two layers of patterned papers to the card base.

Next I used Thin 3D Foam Squares to pop up the petals on my card.  I used a craft knife to cut those up and the squares ensure they will stay up even after getting smashed in an envelope.

Sequins can be a headache to attach.  But Adhesive Dots Micro ensure a headache won’t hit!  I used these to attach all my sequins and I also like to use them with other small embellishments like wood veneer and buttons.

Having a good adhesive on hand can make a project so much easier – be sure to check out all the adhesives that we have available!

Scrapbook Page with My Favorite E-Z-Dots Refillable and 3D Foam Squares Mix

Hi there, it’s Stephanie here today with a scrapbooking page for which I used my favorite E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable Dispenser and 3D Foam Squares Mix White. Let me show you a little tutorial.

The 3D Foam Squares Mix White and the E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable Dispenser from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® are my most used adhesives. I use them for scrapbooking, cardmaking and my Traveller’s Notebooks almost every day.

1 – My first step to create a scrapbooking page is to collect all papers I want to use. It goes quickly when I use a collection with matching sticker or die cuts. I adhere my base with the E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable Dispenser.
2 – Then I’m looking for matching diecuts and washi tapes.
3 – If I’m satisfied I’m adding my photo, sometimes with another background. I love to create a dimension look.
4 – I’m adhereing some diecuts with 3D Foam Squares Mix – White to give them a more 3D look.

5 – At the end I_m adding my title.
6 – Sometimes I see a space and adding some elements. On this I painted some leaves with watercolor, cut it out and adding the branch with the E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable Dispenser. It’s perfect because it only adds adhesives (tiny little dots) on the paper where I need it.
7 – Then I’m adding my journaling.
8 – Finished

It’s a early summer page about the 1st of June, the International Children’s Day. We spent the afternoon at the dunes and did a picnic and they loved it.

Thanks for visiting us today!

Have a great day!
Stephanie

Watercolor Dots Card with E-Z Dots Repositionable

Hello everyone!  I have a technique to share using E-Z Dots® Repositionable Refillable Dispenser and watercolors to make a watercolor dots card.   This card has an abstract and kind of funky background!  Let your imagination run wild with this technique!

As you can see my background is pretty abstract and funky!

How to Use E-Z Dots Repositionable as a Mask

First, I placed my E-Z Dots® Repositionable Refill in my E-Z Runner® Ultra Refillable Dispenser (All the E-Z Runner refills can be used in any of the E-Z Runner Refillable dispensers).  I used it to apply wavy lines of adhesive over a piece of mixed media paper.  I chose that paper because it handles moisture well.  Watercolor paper could also be used.  I placed it on scrap paper so I could run the adhesive off the edge. The E-Z Dots are being used as a mask, not as an adhesive!

Then I brushed on watercolor, starting with blue.

Then added yellow…..

and rusty orange…

I dried it with a heat gun and then rubbed off the E-Z Dots® Repositionable adhesive with my finger. Just a gently swirl removes the dots to reveal the white paper.

Replace the E-Z Runner Ultra refill into the E-Z Runner® Ultra Refillable Dispenser and use it to fasten it to a white card.

Stamp the verse with black ink on white cardstock. After I cut out the pieces, I brushed rusty orange watercolor along the edges. The verse pieces were fastened with E-Z Runner® Micro Refillable Dispenser. The narrow adhesive line is perfect for small pieces!

To finish the card, I added black accent lines at edges of the verse pieces with Neon Amplify!  Simple card design with fun background!

Here are 2 cards with plaid looking backgrounds using the same technique.

I challenge you to have fun with this technique!

Happy creating!
Judy

I adhered each sheet of pattern paper, the journaling cards and smaller paper embellishments using the E-Z Runner® Grand Dispenser. Next, I adhered the star and heart embellishments and titles using Adhesive Dots Mini. Finally, to ensure my photographs are the focal point I adhered the cream photo mats using 3D Foam Creative Sheets. These sheets give the perfect amount of dimension so your layout is not bulky.

Father’s Day Photo Flip Book with Keepsake Envelopes

Hi friends! Dana Tatar here with you today sharing a quick tutorial for how to put together a fun photo flip book using Keepsake Envelopes. These clear self-adhesive envelopes are a great way to store, protect, and display photographs.

Unlike the photo sleeves commonly found in wallets, these envelopes won’t yellow over time. The acrylic-based envelopes are also tear-resistant so they’ll stand up to frequent handling for years to come!

Step 1: Cut photographs to fit inside Keepsake Envelopes. Remove the adhesive from the front of each envelope. (I used 4 small (2 x 2 inches) and 2 Large (4.13 x 3.5 inches) Keepsake Envelopes for my book.) Arrange envelopes as shown above: Large Envelope flap down, 2 Small Envelopes flaps up, 2 Small Envelopes flaps down, Large Envelope flap up. Place Adhesive Lines in the center of the flap of each Small Envelope.

Step 2: Remove two Small Envelopes from the backing liner and press together. Repeat for the remaining two Small Envelopes. Remove the protective sheet from the Adhesive Lines on the center of each Small Envelope flap. Insert the Small Envelope flaps into the Large Envelopes behind the photos. Two Small Envelopes fit side by side in one Large Envelope.

Step 3: Tuck the flap of each Large Envelope down behind the photo. Cut pieces of patterned paper slightly larger than the Large Envelopes. Remove the backing liner from a Large Envelope and press the patterned paper onto the self-adhesive back. Repeat for the second envelope. Use a pair of scissors to trim away the overhanging paper from the envelopes. Cut a piece of fabric tape to length and fold over the top of the book to hide the seam.

Step 4: Embellish the front cover of the photo book.

It is so fun to flip through this book! This is a wonderful inexpensive gift for Dad, but this project is easily adaptable for any special person or occasion throughout the year with a change of cover art.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I’ll be back in a couple weeks sharing a festive home decor piece for the upcoming Independence Day holiday.

Shoot For The Stars Card using 3D Foam Stars

Hi all!  Angel here with some sparkly goodness!  I used the 3D Foam Stars to create my own sparkly embellishments by removing the protective backing of one side and pressing it into a pile of glitter until it was completely covered.

After sponging my background layer, I adhered the three glittered foam stars.

I doubled up on the 3D Foam Squares Black, Regular on the tail end of the sentiment flag to really give it a ‘flying’ effect.  I used the HomeHobby Dual Tip Glue Pen to adhere the other end of the sentiment flag under the edge of the star.  I used it to adhere the main layers to the card base, as well.  The ‘Stars’ sentiment was embossed with black embossing powder.

Easy Happy Birthday Place Card Created with Adhesive Sheets

Hi everyone, Christine here today with a pop up Happy Birthday place card.  You could adorn a birthday table with these or affix to a gift box, either way they are simple to make with Adhesive Sheet 4 x 6″ and add a lovely touch to festivities.

CEmberson - Happy Birthday Placecard

I first selected an Adhesive Sheet 4 x 6″. Lifted the yellow release paper and placed my spotty patterned paper inside.

CEmberson - Happy Birthday Placecard 1

I smoothed it back down and positioned my die. Run this through my die cutting machine

CEmberson - Happy Birthday Placecard 2

I peeled away the backing to reveal that the adhesive from the sheet has transferred onto the back of my die cut.

Because this was a place card and it needed to stand, I cut two.  They affix together perfectly because the adhesive is already in place, no messy glue!

CEmberson - Happy Birthday Placecard 3

I die cut some flowers to decorate the place card.

CEmberson - Happy Birthday Placecard 5

I assembled the flowers, positioned some mini stamens to the middle.  Everything held in place on the reverse with Dodz Adhesive Dots 3D.

CEmberson - Happy Birthday Placecard 6

The finished place card.

Summer Vacation Layout with E-Z Runner Grand Dispenser

Latrice here today with a summer vacation layout as we wind down to a couple of school days in Illinois. I am busy prepping activities for my three kids to stay busy from swimming, soccer, dance and such. No big vacation planned this time like last year’s (their first) cruise to the Bahamas. I wanted to scrapbook a few of my favorite photos from that trip of my daughter. She really soaked it all in and enjoyed herself. Learning about the culture really sparked something inside her. Here is the 12 x 12″ page I’ve created using the E-Z Runner® Grand Dispenser and a couple of the Dodz Adhesive Dots.

LatriceMurphy-Vacation Layout-6

I always try to get multiple photos on a page so I printed the images a little smaller at 4 x 4″ to get three photos on there vertically. To add more pictures without really filling up the page, you can print 3 x 3″ or 2 x 2″. How about trying those Fuji Instax pictures?

I used Paradise Found Beach Collection from Paper House Productions, as well as some coordinating cardstock I found from other companies in my stash.

LatriceMurphy-Vacation Layout-1

I chose a little beach paper, the gorgeous gold seashell overlay and a bracket shaped piece of cardstock to create my background.

LatriceMurphy-Vacation Layout-3

I love layers, but I do keep them simple. I ended up moving the kraft bracket cardstock over once the photos were added. Below you can see the Dodz Adhesive Dots are perfect to adhere the overlay piece because they are clear and double-sided. I used the Adhesive Dots Ultra Thin.

LatriceMurphy-Vacation Layout-2

I also use one of the Adhesive Dots Ultra Thin to hold a knot in place.

LatriceMurphy-Vacation Layout-4

Sometime I love using the Dodz Adhesive Dots 3D to raise up cards and such. They are sturdy and keep things in place perfectly. I just place one on each corner of the 3 x 4″ card.

LatriceMurphy-Vacation Layout-5

To finish the layout I added some letter stickers and more items from the Paper House Productions kit for my title, some hand written journaling and machine stitching.

LatriceMurphy-Vacation Layout-7 LatriceMurphy-Vacation Layout-8 LatriceMurphy-Vacation Layout-9

Can’t wait to snap some summer photos for this year. We still have one more day of school left! Kids are hanging in there.
