Christmas Keepsake Box by Yvonne van de Grijp

I created a keepsake box for special small Christmas memories such tiny gifts, cards, labels, photos, and embellishments… wouldn’t it be great to create a box each year to cherish each Christmas?

To create the box, ink all edges of the Regular Book Box – Ivory using grey ink and paint the inside of the box with grey paint.

Adhere patterned paper from the Twelve Days of Christmas – Deluxe Collectors Edition to the box using the E-Z Runner Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser and Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix (for the top layer on top of the box). To adhere the twine, lace, and embellishments using the E-Z Runner Ultra String Refillable Dispenser, Adhesive Dots, and the Dual Tip Glue Pen. A Keepsake Holiday Scrapbook Page by Tracy McLennon

I am always inspired by Graphic 45. I have a love for creating heritage or vintage inspired layouts. So Graphic 45 and I are a great fit. I found the perfect photo to pair with this young at heart vintage collection, and really wanted to showcase some of the beautiful tags and pockets. A great way to do that is using dimension, and 3D Foam Squares.

I thought the black striped ribbon was a nice addition to the Graphic 45 patterns. A great adhesive for working with any ribbon or trim is the E-Z Runner® Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser. Christmas Diorama Shadowbox by Shellye McDaniel

From the moment that I saw the Deep Square Matchbook Box, I knew that I wanted to make a light-up Christmas Diorama coupled with the sweet Christmas Magic Collection.

To begin, I traced a battery-operated tea light onto the top (inside) of the box and cut out with a Xacto knife. Next, I used the Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4″ around the base of the light and inserted it into the hole.

To cover the box, I used one of the red/cream striped papers from the collection kit and adhered it with Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/2″. Make sure to create an opening in the front of the box.

For the fun part, I cut apart matching journal cards and layered the cut-out portion to the full rendition with 3D Foam Squares White Mix. Two bottle-brush style trees were added to the inside with Adhesive Dots 3D.

When I want to turn on the light, I simply slide the box out and flip the switch! Adorable in a child’s bedroom or end table and what a fun conversation piece! On my blog, I have a step-by-step tutorial so CLICK: Christmas Diorama Shadow Box Project.

Wonderful Christmas Keepsake Box by Teri Burson

I created this lovely decorative box with compartments for storing your favorite keepsakes, craft supplies or jewelry. The beautiful patterned papers from the Twelve Days of Christmas Collection were used to cover the Ivory Book Box.

I fussy cut some of the rose clusters and decorated with my Dual Tip Glue Pen and crystal glitter. I also added a chipboard button embellishment with burlap string, using the 3D Foam Circles Black Mix for my button layers.

All of my paper was trimmed and adhered with my E-Z Runner® Grand Refillable Dispenser and inserted E-Z Runner® Grand Ultra Strong Refill.

Inside my box, I created a faux mirror, using the silver foil in the 3D Foam Creative Embellishment Kit and running it through my die cut machine with an oval-shaped die. A sticker is adhered just below the mirror, popped up with a strip of Crafty Foam Tape Black for added dimension.

Additional glue from my Dual Tip Glue Pen is used to edge my box, with gold glitter generously applied. The final accents to my decorative box are the Graphic 45 Antique Metal Door Pull, plus mini floral ribbon wrapped around my base.

Handmade Christmas Banner and Card Box with Graphic 45

Handmade Merry Banner by Valerie Ward

For my project featuring Graphic 45’s gorgeous Christmas Magic Collection, I created a banner for my fireplace!

I used a banner punch board to create all the varying banner sizes that I needed. To adhere all the different layers of paper together, I used my E-Z Runner ® Grand Refillable Dispenser with the E-Z Runner® Grand Permanent Strips Refill cartridge.

The letters were cut from craft dies, glued together with the Dual Tip Glue Pen, and attached with E-Z Runner ® Grand Ultra Strong Refill adhesive to paper rosettes which were assembled with Premium Double-Sided Tape 1/8 in., then attached to die cut circles using the same Ultra Strong Refill adhesive (which are then attached to the die cut scalloped circle shapes).

All of the floral bling is adhered to the banner pieces using Adhesive Dots Small and Adhesive Dots Large. My final step was to punch circles in the upper corners of each banner piece with a circle punch, and string tinsel ribbon through them.

Handmade Holiday Card Box by Shannon Morgan

Are you like me and never quite know what to do with your Christmas cards? I always end up taping them to a wall. I wanted to do something different this year and Graphic 45 provided me with the perfect solution! They have book boxes that are just ideal for storage and display.

I used some coordinating 12 Days of Christmas papers along with my Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® adhesives to create this adorable card box just in time for the upcoming holiday season!

You’ll find some simple embellishments tucked here and there. I used 3D Foam Squares to make the embellishments pop as shown in the pictures. If you are searching for a solution, this inspires you to create your own card box! Have a great holiday season!

December Daily Holiday Album by Dana Tatar

I created a December Daily Album with the beautiful Christmas Magic collection. The Tag and Pocket Album is the perfect way to store and display photos and keepsakes from the month.

I used Extreme and Ultra Strong adhesive products so I know this album will stand up to handling for many years to come.

The Thin 3D Foam Squares add just the right amount of dimension to die-cuts and tags when space is limited.

Holiday Magic Tag and Card Set by Teri Anderson

Hi, everyone! Like the vintage look? It’s easy to put together a cool set of vintage-inspired Christmas tags and cards with products from Graphic 45 and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Cut two bases for tags from cardstock. Apply several strips of patterned paper to them and then dry brush some white paint along the edges of the tags and the paper seams. Give the tags a little glitz by applying a strip of Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4 inch to each tag. Remove the red backing and apply glitter onto the line of tape.

Complete the tags by adding some embellishments created by stacking chipboard and sticker accents together. Want the embellishments to have a bit of sparkle? Simply roll an E-Z Dots Permanent Refillable Dispenser along their edges and dip them in glitter. Complete your tags by punching holes in the top of them and then adding some twine!

To make a card to go with your tags, create a card base from cardstock. Then repeat the steps you did to make the tags. The only thing you will not do is poke a hole in the top of the card!

12 Days of Christmas Box, Cards and Tags by Judy Hayes

Today, I’m sharing Twelve Days of Christmas Box, Cards and Tags set made with papers, stickers and chipboard pieces from The Twelve Days of Christmas – Deluxe Collectors Edition from Graphic 45 and adhesive products from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

Both cards and tags fit neatly into the box along with envelopes. Cards feature images from one sheet of paper that easily make into cards with contrast papers, stickers and chipboard pieces from the collection along with adhesives, photo corners and foil from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®.

Each tag has a pocket with flap to hold a gift card and fits in an envelope just as a card. The ivory book box is decorated with papers, twine, stickers, and a large chipboard shape for the cover with a popped up center. It’s a nice Christmas décor piece and stores the cards and tags!

The Magic of Christmas Box and Tags by Linsey Rickett

My Christmas Magic book box was so much fun to decorate! I have discovered that Graphic 45 and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® are a match made in heaven! This box is a keepsake that will be enjoyed and cherished for years to come.

These products are the highest quality and will ensure the lasting integrity of my book box. I had the pleasure of working with the charming Christmas Magic collection and what a delightful collection it is! So much warmth and sweetness. I sure hope that it was translated through my project.

I incorporated some of my favorite Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® products into the festive scene. The gold and red foils worked beautifully with the holiday theme and the creative photo corners were perfect for the jumbo tags, which fit inside the box. Everything came together so nicely and I’m very pleased with the outcome.

It’s a Gift Card … Card!

Hi everyone, Christine here today with a card that also features a secret gift card. It’s easily made with Crafty Foam Tape and makes a regular card that little bit more special.

Creating the Gift Card Holder

Cut a piece of patterned paper slightly smaller than your A2-size (4.25 x 5.50-inch) white card base. This is your card panel. Using a shaped etched die, center it on the right side edge of the patterned paper. I secured the die with washi tape to avoid shifting. Then cut with a die cutting machine. Designer Note: you can also use a punch or hand cut.

On the back of the cut card panel, position your gift card and place strips of Crafty Foam Tape around three edges. Make sure to give it a little wiggle room. This creates the pocket to hold the gift card.

Apply more Crafty Foam Tape around the card panel and affix it to the card base.

Use several decorative die cuts in various cardstock to layer and embellish the card panel. Stamp a sentiment on white cardstock, and die-cut over it with a narrow rectangle die. Place several 3D Foam Squares White Small behind the sentiment and adhere to the card panel.

DIY Thanksgiving Traveler’s Notebook Part 2

I embellished the cover page of my insert with a journaling card, a die-cut label, and a family photo. I used the E-Z Runner® Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser to secure the photos and cards to this album. The Thin 3D Foam Squares were the perfect size to adhere, and slightly raise, die-cuts for added dimension in a size-restricted book.

Sequin Shaker Pocket Made with Keepsake Envelopes

I added several different sizes of Keepsake Envelopes between the notebook pages. Two of the same sized Keepsake Envelopes can be stuck back to back to create pocket pages. I placed a chipboard sticker inside the front facing Keepsake Envelope (top photo). Then, I filled the rear facing envelope with sequins (bottom photo). To ensure that the sequins stayed in place, I sealed the envelope with Extreme Double-Sided Tape.

Flip Cards Travelers Notebook Insert with Keepsake Envelope Flaps

Use the flaps from the Keepsake Envelopes, shown above, to create a 2-sided flip card. I left the flap exposed (top photo) as a reference. I used the E-Z Runner® Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser to secure the cards to the flaps. For a seamless design (bottom photo), sandwich the envelope flaps between the cards.

I created a 2-sided card to slip inside a second, larger Keepsake Envelope. I sealed the card inside the envelope with a strip of patterned paper and the E-Z Runner Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser.

As complicated as this card may look, it’s actually fairly simple to put together.

Here is a close up of the card. Love how the foil just makes this card pop!

I used Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4-inch along the edges of my card. Then I added red foil to the top from the 3D Foam Holiday Embellishment Kit. I also added Creative Photo Corners Gold to the corners to accent the patterned paper and vellum off the card a little bit.

Let’s take a look at those coffee mugs! The foil was added to them using a combination of Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/4-inch and Adhesive Dots in various sizes. When you Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside, you have an easy way to add creativity to a product that usually hides between the layers!

Lastly, before adding on the coffee mugs, I housed the gift card in a medium size Keepsake Envelope. These envelopes are clear and have permanent adhesive on the entire back-side so they don’t interfere with the design of my card.

Creating an Advent Journal Cover Tutorial

Every year, every single year, I aspire to create this ridiculously amazing December Daily journal, and every year I fail….miserably so. This year, I realized, that I focus too much on the perfection of the holidays and not the actual reason for this season every year.

So, I shifted my focus. I am creating an Advent journal this year. I’ll be sharing it throughout the season with you as I fill it.

Making the Advent Journal Cover

Today I am sharing with you how I created the cover. These are the supplies that I gathered. By doing this first step, I am inspired by odd things collected and this time it was a song lyric.

Measure the journal to determine the size of the journal base and cut one out of patterned paper. My choice was a star patterned paper which I adhered to the journal using my E-Z Grand Runner.

Adding Layers

Add the layers one by one. First, I started with the left side of the journal. As you can see, there is a combination of tabs, a border for a little bit of interest and washi tape. See – odd stuff! LOL!

In adding the next layer, I wanted some contrast. My “go-to” is something “whispy” which come in a form of tracing paper or vellum.

So I sandwich a piece of tracing paper between a scrap piece of patterned paper and a wood veneer polaroid frame. I painted the frame white and used Adhesive Lines to secure the frame. The Adhesive Lines were perfect because of the narrow space of the frame 🙂

The polaroid frame layer was popped up with 3D Foam Squares!! I love these 3D Foam Squares!! I love them, I love them! Did I mention, I love them? LOL!!

Advent is all about — waiting in JOYFUL hope, of course. I needed to add this to my cover, also layer on a few embellishments. Look at how fun this is? A great motivator to inspire ME to work on MYSELF!

2-In-1 December Daily Album

Happy holidays are upon us! Shellye McDaniel here today to give you a peek at my 2018 “December Daily” scrapbook album.

Working on the December Daily Album

I started with these supplies from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: 3D Foam Squares White Mix, Crafty Foam Black Tape, E-Z Runner® Grand Ultra Strong Refill, Adhesive Dots 3D and Premium Double-Sided Tape 1/2in.

I combined a mini album kit with various elements from another Christmas collection. When I assembled the two together it created a one-of-a-kind treasure!

The Daily Details

To begin, I dressed all of the chipboard pages using the E-Z Runner® Grand Ultra Strong Refill. For larger pieces, I used the Premium Double-Sided Tape 1/2in.

Throughout the album, I was able to add dimension to stickers with the 3D Foam Squares White Mix.

I gave the buttons a secure footing by attaching them with the Adhesive Dots 3D.

Next the sleeves of the SN@P! Album was filled with pre-cut cards. I was able to further embellish them with numbers for the days, die-cuts and stickers.

I also created a pocket using the Crafty Foam Black Tape on three sides. The top I left open so extra journal cards could be tucked inside.

Fill the sleeves and decorate the chipboard, then layer the pages. I alternated between a chipboard page, a plastic sleeve, and a die-cut page.

To finish I added the die-cut numbers for the days. Towards the end of the album, I made more room for additional Christmas Eve and Day photos.
