Assembling a Mini Album using Adhesive Sheets

Hello Everyone! Vicki here to share a little mini album that I mainly put together with Adhesive Sheets 4×6″. I’ve been working this special album for my sister.  She recently became a Grandma for the second time and I thought that was totally deserving of a little brag book for her purse 🙂

This project is going to be taken in and out of her purse a lot ( I’m sure) , so I wanted to keep it simple, without a lot of embellishments AND most of all I wanted the pages and photos to have very secure edges.

You are My Sunshine Mini Album by Vicki Chrisman

Making a Mini Album

Adhesive Sheets work fantastic for projects like this. I used the 4 x 6 inch size for this album but they also come in 6 x 12 inch and 12 x 12 inch sizes so you can choose what is best for the project at hand.

These sheets are easy to use. Peel off the yellow side and place down on your paper. Smooth over with your hand and peel off.  You now have adhesive from edge to edge!

The photos can be adhered the same way, using the Adhesive Sheets.

It was fun choosing the photos and adding them to the album. I used my E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser for adding extra strips of paper and tabs that I used for embellishing.

As you can see, I’ve added a number of pages and photos to this album and they are all very secure. This little album filled with my sister’s adorable grandbabies is sturdy and ready to be view many times.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Glittered Banner Birthday Card using 3D Foam Pennants and Crafty Power Tape

Happy 14th of the month! Latrice here with a card to share with you using 3D Foam Pennants and Crafty Power Tape. These two products make creating fast and fun.

In my last design team box I received a set of embossing powder and elements from Stampendous and instantly thought I needed to use it. The 3D Foam Pennants would be perfect to use. I love the two sided adhesive on these. Check out what I made…

First I pulled out items I wanted to use but in the end I didn’t use everything pictured here.

I started off my cutting a piece of white cardstock for my card base and placed a smaller piece of patterned paper to layer. I kept it simple with just one layer and used the Crafty Power Tape.

Next I chose three of the five choices of embossing powders and elements and used them just like glitter. I like the texture it gave. I layered them on in a semi random order and used my finger to really press it into the 3D Foam Pennants.

Each 3D Foam Pennant was placed in an arch to create a banner. Just add enamel dots, some faux stitching with a black fine tip sharpie, and the stamped banner using Lawn Fawn stamp set “So Much To Say.”

I really love how the banner turned out with its fabulous texture. I may try this one again and actually emboss it on there. That’s the fun part about using these banners with the Stampendous embossing powders and elements.

Sweet 16 Treat Box Banner Tutorial using E-Z Runner Ultra Strong

I’m excited to share my literally “outside the box” project using treat box etched die as a Sweet 16 banner with a Bohemian vibe secured with the NEW E-Z Runner® Grand Ultra Strong Refill! What do you think?

Sweet 16 Treat Box Banner by Margie Higuchi for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

Creating Banner Base:

First I need to change out my E-Z Runner® Grand Permanent with my E-Z Runner® Grand Ultra Strong Refill. I use this type of adhesive when I am doing paper construction projects like these boxes.

These Grand Refills are so easy to change out – just drop it in. See the quick How to Use and Refill the E-Z Runner® Grand Dispenser video below…

Next I cut the Surprise Me Box Etched Dies Base Die for a total of six with patterned papers. Assemble each box with E-Z Runner® Grand Ultra Strong by applying adhesive on the tabs and put the ends together.

Embellishing the Banner:

For the letters, I took off the top liner of 3D Foam Creative Sheets (determine how much you want to use and trim first) and placed patterned paper over it. Cut the desired letter with manual die-cutting machine. Repeat the process until you spell out SWEET.

For a visual, see How to Use 3D Foam Creative Sheets video below…

For 16, repeat above step but without adding patterned paper. Once cut, you will add glitter to the front side by removing top liner and then pressing glitter over the exposed area. Tap off excess and set aside.

Cut Surprise Me Box Etched Dies Tag Die for a total of 12 tags with white cardstock. Apply a line of E-Z Runner® Grand Ultra Strong in the middle of two tags per box and center them together on top to form one shape. Remove the bottom liner of a letter and place on top of the two tags. Repeat for all letters and “16.”

Close each end of box with an Adhesive Dots Large. Place one in the inside and squeeze all four sides to adhere (sometimes I used two Adhesive Dots if one didn’t work).

Thread jute through the top of each box and it’s ready to displayed!

Heritage Layout with Creative Photo Corners

Today I thought I would share a heritage layout that I created using the following adhesives: Creative Photo Corners Mix Pack, E-Z Runner® Grand Dispenser, 3D Foam Squares White Regular and E-Z Runner® Grand Dispenser

If you have ever worked on creating a heritage album or even just a heritage layout, you know that you really do want to use the right adhesives to ensure that your precious photos are preserved and taken care of. With that said I would always recommend that you use a copy of your heritage photo instead of an original.

The biggest part of creating is choosing acid free adhesives, in order to preserve and protect those memories. One of my go to choices is the Creative Photo Corners Mix Pack. Photo corners adhere your photo to an album or layout without actually having adhesive directly on your photo. The benefit of this is, if you happen to be using original photos and not copies, the photo can easily be taken out to copy and share. Plus the fact that a photo corner can give you that classic heritage look.

For all of my regular papercrafting with paper layers, my go to adhesive is my E-Z Runner® Grand Dispenser. For dimension, I use 3D Foam Squares like I did with my matted photo. But for all of those little bits and pieces of memorabilia, and other small heritage embellishments like buttons and keys I will grab my Adhesive Dots Micro.

Thanks so much for stopping by to pick up a few heritage layout tips.

Creating Rainbows with E-Z Squares

Good morning! Michele here with a fun, happy rainbow card! I stamped these funky hearts with a bit of masking to make it appear they were stacked over one another and colored them with Copic markers. I stamped my sentiment and matted my panel on black card stock using the E-Z Squares® Refillable Dispenser.

Coloring tips: where they over lapped, I used both colors to blend them.  Add a grey drop shadow to give it a bit more depth.

To match my background with the colored hearts, I cut coordinating cardstock strips and adhered to black paper with E-Z  Squares®Refillable Despenser. Then adhered both the top stamped piece and the bottom rainbow piece to my card with the E-Z Squares® as well.

Tie white ribbon at the top and secure the knot with a Dodz Adhesives Dots Small. I wanted to add coordinating sequins so I used Adhesive Dots Micro under each one. I love using the Adhesive Dots in place of glue! It is so much easier and a lot less mess!

How to Use Adhesive Dots as Embellishments on a Paper Craft Project

Have you ever found an unexpected purpose for products? Today I have a layout showcasing Adhesive Dots as embellishments along with a video to show you how I used them!

Using Adhesive Dots as Embellihsments on a Scrapbook Layout by Christine Meyer for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

This layout already had a good start for a sleepover layout with the stars on the patterned paper.  But it needed more to really make it twinkle!

By adding individual Adhesive Dots in three sizes amongst the stars and then covering those with glitter, I was able to really up the twinkle factor!  Here’s the Using Adhesive Dots as a Scrapbook Embellishment video to show you how I accomplished this look – see below!

It wouldn’t be a scrapbook layout if I didn’t have some 3D Foam Squares in there! I used it just in one little place today and it was to pop up the entire camera in the upper left hand corner.

Thanks for joining me today!
Christine

Scrapbook Layering with 3D Foam Squares and E-Z Dots Permanent Refillable Dispenser

Hi there, it’s Stephanie here today to show you a scrapbook page with a hidden journaling behind the flap and some fun layering which I used a combination of 3D Foam Squares Mix – White and E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable Dispenser.

For this layout I used the paper collection Bowl of Dreams from Jillibean Soup. It’s a beautiful summer collection with matching sticker for all your sunny memories. Although we had bad weather during our vacation, we had a lot of sun in our hearts. I capture this photo of my daughter smiling because the rain stopped 🙂

3D Foam Squares Mix – White are great to add dimensions on your projects while the E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable Dispenser adhere almost all kinds of paper in an easy and quick way.

I always push the papers under the photo, paper by paper, and secure them on the edge with the E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable Dispenser. Behind the photo and the flamingo I used the 3D Foam Squares Mix – White to highlight them.

Thank you for visiting us today!
Stephanie 🙂

Simple, Quick and Cute Thanks Card with Adhesive Sheets

Hi everyone!  It’s Judy here today with a small simple, quick and cute thanks card created with Adhesive Sheets 4 x 6ʺ. This little “thanks” card came together out of necessity this week. I was sending some thank you gifts with little notes so I wanted something quick but nicer than a post-it or plain note paper.

Thanks card with Adhesive Sheets and die cuts by Judy Hayes

I happened to have some bright colored papers with Adhesive Sheets already applied to the back side. There were perfect for the flower, stem and thanks die cuts! Then I found some paper for the flower pot, applied Adhesive Sheets to the back and I was ready to die cut! In a matter of minutes, I had this little card put together! Don’t you just love it when projects come together like this!

Since the die-cuts are quite small for this card, cut Adhesive Sheets 4 x 6ʺ  in half to apply to cardstock cut 3 x 4ʺ.

To apply a half Adhesive Sheets 4 x 6ʺ,  remove the narrow edge liner piece and apply it to back of cardstock.

Lift and fold back Adhesive Sheets away from cardstock, with a rolling motion, slide the Adhesive Sheet onto the cardstock while yellow release paper peels off.

See a quick How to Use Adhesive Sheets for Die Cutting and More video below.

Next, place all 4 cardstock pieces with dies on cutting plate at one time.  These flower dies are tiny!

Then pass through a manual die cutting machine.

Next, remove release paper from each die cut, starting with “thanks” and place them on a  2¾ x 3½ʺ card.

Last but not least, add a black dot in flower center with black marker.

Simple, quick and cute!

Thanks for visiting!
Judy

Best Dream Team | 3D Foam Hearts

Hello everyone, Jana here with a new layout for you. Today I used 3D Foam Hearts and gold foil from the 3D Foam Holiday Embellishment Kit to create a fun page! My hubby and our little one are a real dream team. I had the chance to get some new photos from them, that’s not easy! So I needed to get that picture on a layout ASAP!

Best Dream Team page tutorial by Jana Maiwald-McCarthy

The 3D Foam Hearts are awesome to use and so easy to add the foil… such a nice detail! Remember to apply the foil shinny side UP on top of the sticky side of 3D Foam Shapes.

I worked with Bowl of Dreams Collection Kit from Jillibean Soup – it’s full of bright colors and cute little elements! One of the patterned papers was my inspiration piece, chevrons! I added stitching to them for accent.

I added 3D Foam Squares and Crafty Foam Tape White for dimension under my little elements, like the flowers.

Smile Card with MyStik® Permanent Strips Dispenser

YAY it’s Saturday!! Erica here sharing a card featuring the MyStik® Permanent Strips Dispenser, Extreme Double Sided Tape 1/2″ and Adhesive Dots Micro.

Smile Card by Erica Houghton for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

I started by adhering patterned paper to the base of my card using the MyStik® Permanent Strips Dispenser.

I then used Extreme Double Sided Tape 1/2″ to attach trim to a piece of pattern paper. I used this adhesive because it’s durable enough to be pulled and tugged while I tied a bow.

Finally, I used Adhesive Dots Micro to adhere a few small embellishments like the flower and banner cut apart to my card.
