Hi everyone, Christine here today with a thank you card and a great tip on how to adhere those delicate sentiment die cuts.

Using Adhesive Sheets, (I like the 6 x 4 size for smaller dies, the sheets are available in larger sizes too) lift the yellow liner sheet, place your chosen card/paper inside, re-apply the liner sheet, place your die on top and run through your die cutting machine.

I cut multiple ‘Thanks’ to design my card front. To adhere the decorated front panel of my card I used Crafty Foam Tape.

Hello! AJ here with a easy mixed media tutorial for you card makers!

I have been busy playing with my Art Medium and the cheesecloth lately and have decided, it’s the best for making flowers with!

To start, take a strip of gauze and lay it out on your work mat. I just used a cheap-o foam brush, and actually used my fingers as well. Start brushing the medium over your gauze, liberally covering all areas. Set aside to dry.

Pour out more medium, and sprinkle a bit of wine pigment powder color and mix in. I decided I wanted more color to work with, and added a bit more of each here.

AJOtto-BeautifulDay-4 Next, take a second strip of gauze, and repeat covering with your brush. My medium was in a pile on my work space, so you can also just mix in with you fingers if you like. Set aside to dry.

I waited over night, and came back to two amazingly stiff but totally workable pieces of gauze. Dies cut it like butter and there is no fraying of the gauze. Here you can see the few blossoms I cut and rolled, and the leaves I cut from the plain white gauze.

For your leaves, they are easily colored with either a spray ink, or dabbing your distress ink pad over it. (I did both to color mine) I then die cut my rectangle, stamped the sentiment and adhered my flowers to the leaves with DODZ 3D, and then to my die cut. Once assembled, you can curl your petals and give your flower shape and depth.

To adhere my patterned paper to the card front, I used the new E-Z Runner® Grand, and to finish of the card, I added a few sequins with the new DODZ Mini.

Hello Spring Card

Hi crafty friends and Happy Easter! It’s Lisa on the blog with you today to share a super pretty Spring card that I made that is appropriate for any occasion, with just a change of sentiment.

Stamping the sentiment in a dark grey and then using watercolor pencils to color in the image is where I started with this card. The stamp itself shows where the highlights and lowlights should be, which is very helpful. Then I used a transparent watercolor that is “impregnated” on a piece of paper to do the rest. I added a touch of enamel accents to add a glossy finish to the centers of the flowers, as well. Once the color is dry the panel is die-cut.

Two patterned papers were adhered together using my new absolute FAVE adhesive: the E-Z Runner® Ultra Refillable Dispenser. This stuff is so strong and lays down so smooth, just like buttah. 😉 Once adhered I die cut them, too. I cut a doily in half (no idea where I got it) and adhered that puppy down (not a real puppy, please don’t call the SPCA on me!) with my trusty ‘ol favorite E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable Dispenser to the patterned paper so that the frilly side was about at the edge.

I then doubled the darkest blue of the Twine and wrapped it around the middle of the patterned paper panel and tied into a bow. This gives the appearance of 4 bows and 4 tails. I added an Adhesive Dots Mini under the center of the bow to keep it from shifting and to add stability to the bow I dipped my fingers into theArt Medium and ran my fingers around the bow to give it shape. This little trick is so cool!

3D Foam Squares – Black, Regular were added to the water-colored panel and then that was placed on top of the patterned paper panel. A stamped, embossed sentiment was done onto some cardstock weight vellum which was then wrapped around the entire piece and again, adhered on the back with the E-Z Runner® Ultra Refillable Dispenser.

To embellish I added a few Pretty Pink Posh Sequins using the Adhesive Dots Mini and then adhered the whole she-bang to a base card cut so that it opens vertically.

Happy Easter Tag

Hello, it’s Latisha,

With Easter tomorrow, I decided to create a quick treat bag with a festive tag. Looking back at childhood pictures, I was always wearing tights with my Easter clothes. Secretly I was happy that spring and summer were fast approaching and I didn’t have to wear tights to church any more (lol). I was always getting into trouble for ripping them or getting them dirty.

In my neck of the woods (Florida) it actually has been stormy and I believe it will be rainy on Sunday as well. No matter the weather, I hope you all have a wonderful Easter. And if you are still needing a quick gift, then I hope my project today gives you a little bit of inspiration.

Some quick steps:

Die cut the tag and grass.
Stamp the sentiment with black ink, butterflies in coral ink.
Stamp egg in blue robin ink and then die-cut. Adhere the egg to the tag using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® 3D Foam Squares (white, regular).
Adhere the grass border over the egg using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® 3D Foam Squares (white, small).
Adhere sequins to the tag using the NEW Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Dodz™ Mini.
Add candy to glassine bag.
Punch hole in the bag, attach the tag with ribbon.

BOY Mini Album with Self-Laminating Pouches

Happy Friday! It’s Erica and today I’m sharing a mini album I created using the NEW Self-Laminating Pouches/Cards X-Large and Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/2″.

Making a Mini Album

As you can see I didn’t use the Self-Laminating Pouches – Cards X-Large in a traditional way, but instead used the self-laminating cards because they are durable – protecting my mini album pages from damage and making the pages easy to turn.

First, I removed the white paper from between one self-laminating card and adhered the card together. I then cut three 2.5″x9″ rectangles and punched four holes along the left side of each rectangle. Next, I placed a strip of Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/2″ on both sides of the self-laminating card.

Then I placed my page along the left side of the Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/2″; I attached page two in the same manner on the other side of the self-laminating card. Using the Self-Laminating Pouches – Cards X-Large in this way keeps my pages from being damaged, plus the durability of the card added more rigidity to my album.

I absolutely enjoyed creating this mini album! Using layer after layer of paper, embellishments and flowers, I adhered my many layers with the E-Z Runner® Grand dispenser and Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/2″.

Good morning! Michele here with a quick little spring inspired card! I was rummaging around my desk and happened to land upon these 3D Foam Garden Shapes. I arranged them on a piece of white card stock. I peeled each of the tops off and sprinkled it with glitter. I love not having to mess with glue and such. Just peel and stick! 😉

I added a sticker sentiment and adhered my focal point to my card base using Crafty Foam Tape. The coordinating patterned paper were adhered using E-Z Squares® Refillable.

I tied some pink twine to the top and attached a few sequins with the Dodz Mini.

Ready for Take Off – Travel Logs and Luggage Tags

Hi everyone Laurel here with a travel ensemble.

My husband, daughter and myself are headed to Greece!

In preparation for our trip I created some little notebooks for each of us to document our own views and memories. I also created some luggage tags. Now we just have to count the days!

Altered Travel Notebooks and Luggage Tags by Laurel Seabrook

I purchased a bunch of mini composition notebooks years ago when they were on clearance for 10 cents each! They are perfect for travel logs as they are small and don’t take up a lot of room. Of course they have to be altered 🙂

The first thing I did was create panels to cover the front and back, by cutting a background paper to size. I then decorated the front parts, with layering bits and pieces using the E-Z Runner® Grand Permanent Strips (150′) Home & Hobby, some Dodz™, along with of course stitching and staples.

To adhere the letters and the planes I used some Dodz™ just to hold them in place while I stitched and stapled.

I usually like to have some of my items mounted with some Foam Squares but since these will be travelling and possibly taking some abuse, I kept them as flat as I could. To adhere the panels to the notebooks I used some of the Premium Double-Sided Tape 1″.

Next up I created some luggage tags. These were super easy to do using the Multi-Purpose Tags with Loops. I just cut the paper to fit, adhered our information label and then tucked them in the Self-Laminating Tags.

How to Organize Family Activities with Self-Laminating Cards

Hi there,

it’s Stephanie here today and I want to show you some useful items to organize your family activities using Self-Laminating products from our Home and Hobby product line. I made some helpful Self-Laminating items for the magnetic family calendar board and a birthday calendar with Multi Purpose Tags.

For a better overview on our family calendar I decided to use photos with the family members. Thereby we have a faster and better look, who has what dates. To make the photos more resistant I used the Self-Laminating Cards Small.

Here is how I created them.

1 – You will need a scissors, punches, magnet, Self-Laminating Cards Small.

2 – Punch or cut your photos. I used several photos of our family and cut some in circles, some rectangular and some in freestyle. You can also add a color at the edges to distinguish better.

3 – I used one Self-Laminating card for two photos. Lay your photo inside the card, peel of the protective sheet and pull the adhesive sheet over it. It’s quick and easy.

4 – Cut out your photos with a narrow edge.

5 – Adhere a Magnet. Use self-adhesive magnets or use Dodz™ in this size you need.

6 – Use your Photo-Magnets on your family board.

I also used a Self-Laminating product to create a Birthday Calendar. By using the colorful Multi Purpose Tags with Loops I made for every month a card.

Hi everyone! Carisa Zglobicki here and today I have a fun mixed media card to share with you and I’m going to show you exactly how I created it incorporating my favorite products from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®.

I started by pulling out a scrap piece of watercolor paper and adding color with oil pastels. I scribbled random blocks of color and blended lightly with my fingers to soften the background.

Next I added some stamping and since I was using watercolor paper with a lot of texture, I pulled out my stamping tool and black ink.

Washi tape doesn’t stick to the oil pastels because of the surface. But with the Extreme Double Sided Tape 1/4″ I don’t have to worry because it will stick to anything – LOL!

After I added some additional texture with a stencil and some watercolor medium, it was time to add my sentiment. I wanted some dimension so I used DODZ 3D (clear double-sided adhesive dot).

Once my panel was completed, I was ready to add it to my card base. I used the NEW E-Z Runner® Ultra Refillable Dispenser. It’s an ultra strong, permanent, double-sided adhesive in a refillable dispenser. The 42 feet (!) clear line of adhesive is immediately tacky and perfect for my watercolor paper.

For more dimension and texture, I added some cheesecloth with Art Medium. Perfect way to adhere it because it dries completely clear as you can see in this close up.

Easter Greetings

Hi everyone, Christine here today with a chocolate treat! Creating wrappers for chocolate bars is a real favorite of mine so if you fancy a change from an egg this Easter perhaps a wrapped bar of chocolate for that someone special? So easy to make with all your Scrapbook Adhesives products to hand.

First of all I measured and scored a strip of white cardstock to create the wrapper. Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1/2 inch ensures that wrapper is going to stick for sure!

The red tape backing is easy to lift off too!

I then brought together the items I wanted to use to decorate the wrapper. Check out the lovely bakers twine – this is Twine, four colors in a pack.

I matted patterned paper onto the front of the wrapper using MyStik® Permanent Strips.

My die cuts have dimension using 3D Foam Squares – White, Regular.
