Season’s Greetings! It’s Erica and today I’m sharing two holiday cards I created using the E-Z Runner® Grand Permanent Strips dispenser and 3D Foam Creative Sheets.

I adhered pattern paper to the base of my cards using the E-Z Runner® Grand Permanent Strips dispenser.

Next, I adhered a second layer to the base of my card using the E-Z Runner® Grand Permanent Strips dispenser. I then added 3D Foam Creative Sheets to the back of my sentiments to give it dimension. Prior to adhering my sentiments I distressed the edges of my cards and sentiments.

Mixed Media Board

Hi there,

it’s Stephanie here today and I want to show you a fairy tale mixed media gesso board I made with awesome products from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®.

Some weeks ago I made a little princess mixed media canvas for my little girl. So my older daughter was sad and I made another one for her room.

I used a Gesso board (wood panel) and the pigment powder. My first layer is a collage with paper transfers (from La Blanche). In many layers I used the pigment powders dissolved in water and rubbed with my fingers. I also used Gesso and white acrylic paint between and also some stamps to get texture.

I painted the flowers and decorated them with some stars and a metal charm. I also used a star for her magic wand.

Another decoration is this cute little fabric flower I made with Ribbons. I used lace ribbon and burlap. To adhere the flower I used the Dodz Adhesive Dots.

To adhere my Photo I used the E-Z Dots® Permanent. For the leaves the 3D Foam Squares White Mix.

It was a fun project and I enjoyed every minute on it. I hope you like it too and will try out the awesome Pigment Powders!

Poinsettia Tag with Dodz Tutorial

Hello everyone! It’s Judy here today to share a Poinsettia tag. At this time of year, I use tags to dress up cellophane bags or even brown lunch bags filled with homemade cookies to give to friends and coworkers. The assembly of this tag can easily be broken into little steps to fit into a busy schedule! It would be just as pretty on a package, especially one wrapped in brown paper and tied with string.

To make this tag, I cut 2 tags with Spellbinders Tag, You’re It die – one cut from music paper and one from cream card stock along with circle to fit around hole. I used Adhesive Sheets on back of circle to fasten it to tag. Distress inks were rubbed onto the music tag and lightly onto cream tag. The verse was stamped with black ink. Crinkled seam binding ties the tags together. A piece of Lace Ribbon is fastened with Premium Double-Sided Tape. I placed the tape where it would be covered by the poinsettia.

The poinsettia pieces were cut from red patterned paper and the leaf from green patterned paper. All pieces were inked along edges and sanded to expose white on veins. The poinsettia layers are assembled with DODZ™ Small.
I made the poinsettia center by rolling 6 DODZ™ Medium into balls. Once these were in place on poinsettia, they were dusted with gold Pigment Powder.

To complete the tag, I used DODZ™ Medium to fasten a loose bow of twine under the poinsettia and fastened both to the tag with another DODZ™ Medium.

Christmas Heart Card

Hi everyone, Christine here today with a Christmas card idea for that special someone in your life.

My idea is to use a map image of a memorable place, this is placed behind a heart aperture. Firstly, source your map and affix this onto a piece of card using E-Z Runner Permanent Strips Refilliable.

Create your aperture by die cutting a heart, to create a more 3D effect affix 3D Foam Squares – White, Regular and Crafty Foam Tape to the reverse.

Mount this onto the map and then affix to a card front, again using E-Z Runner Permanent Strips Refilliable.

To decorate I added some assorted die cuts.

By featuring a memorable location it makes the card that little bit more special and definitely personal.

Gingerbread House Shaped Card Tutorial

Hello everyone! Today I am very excited to share with you a shaped card that I’ve wanting to do for several weeks…needed the time to just sit down and do it. All these pieces were put together with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® products 🙂 What do you think?!

Let’s start with the card base. I die cut two of the Gingerbread House Border die (the silhouette of the house) with Kraft cardstock. One of the die cuts, I nested the Border die and the House die together on top and embossed only. Now it becomes the front of the card and it will embed another die cut.

Scored part of the roof and chimney (about 1/2″ from top) of plain die cut. This will become the back of the card.

Cut and emboss the House die with white cardstock using my manual die cutting machine and taking out the die cut with my Tool ‘n One.

You will end up with these three house die cuts…

Apply Dual Tip Glue in the scored area and then marry the two die cuts until they become one shape.

Put the white house die cut back into the House die template and use as a stencil. Color through the die with Gelatos®. Then cover with Glass Bead Glitter Gel for sparkle and dimension. Repeat the same process with the candy dies.

After drying (don’t forget to clean your die!), I applied Dual Tip Glue on the back and fitted into the embossed design which creates an embedded look – I love this technique! Then add the candy die cuts using a combination of Dual Tip Glue and 3D Foam Squares – Black, Small.

The front door needed something – it has an embossed bow design but I wanted something BOLD so I took the Star from the 3D Foam Christmas Shapes set and colored it with Red Cherry Gelatos®. After it dried, I covered it with Glass Bead Glitter Gel. Let dry.

Decorated Glassine Gift Bag

Hello there, Latisha here with you today sharing a way to give cash, a gift card, movie tickets etc… in a fun and easy way. Using a few crafty materials. I plan on giving this to a little girl who loves Frozen (which I have never fully watched) but I know there is snow, pinks, purples and teal lol, and what little girl doesn’t enjoy a little bit of glitter?

Instructions:

First I peeled the layers off of the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Stars that I wanted to have purple glitter on.
Next, I added purple glitter to those stars, and tapped off the excess.
Repeat step one and two using teal glitter.
Stamp the sentiment in black ink.
Adhere the stars to the tag and glassine bag.
Apply the sequins to the bag and tag using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Adhesive Dots Small.
Add thick twine to the tag, tie a bow.
Add a little bit of teal glitter to the top and bottom of the tag using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Dots® Repositionable Refillable adhesive.
Clip the tag onto the bag.

Let’s Cuddle Card

Hi there! Lisa on the blog with you to share a sweet and easy card that you can make in minutes. This card is great if you’re in need of cards to make for a group of special friends or just don’t want to sweat it out over something too fussy.

It’s super easy to cut all the pieces of paper in advance, die-cut the mittens, and add the Liquid Applique’ to the bottom of the mittens. You can even add the 3D Foam Squares, Black, Small to the back of the mittens prior to getting everything together.

It’s also a good idea to pre-prep your twine by dipping it into Gel Medium and twisting into shape and laying it out to dry. This step is NOT necessary, but it is fun.

Once you’re in true mass production mode you’ll need 1) E-Z Dots® Permanent Refillable Dispenser (and a refill) and 2) Adhesive Dots Medium 3) Premium Double-Sided Tape ½” – Permanent.

An embossing ink was used to stamp the sentiment onto the vellum strip and it was heat set with an embossing glitter.

A fun and easy card to make for anyone that might need a little cuddle. 🙂

Happy Holidays Card

Good morning! Michele here with a Happy Holidays card for you!

This card uses the negative space as a backdrop to create interest. The 3 snowflakes were die cut out and I water colored around it in various shades of blue. The panel was adhered to an additional white piece of card stock using the E-Z Squares® Refillable. I added the smaller snowflakes to the centers of the larger snowflakes using Adhesive Dots Small.

I added gems to the centers of the snowflakes using Adhesive Dots Small as well. The sentiment sticker was added.

I used Crafty Foam Tape to attach the panel to glittery silver card stock. As a final touch, I tied silk ribbon and jingle bells vertically. The bow was secured with Adhesive Dots Small, so it didn’t flop all over. 😉

Framed Wings – Decoration for Christmas

Hi There,

today it’s Stephanie here and I want to show you a christmas frame I made with Die Cuts, Paper and the fabulous E-Z Dots® Permanent – Refillable and 3D Foam Squares – White Mix.

I use this little frame as wall decoration. It’ a quick and easy project and here is my little tutorial for you.

1) Cut out the Sizzix Feathered Wings with your Big Shot and distress the edges of every wings.

2) Adhere the different sizes of wings with the E-Z Dots® Permanent – Refillable.

3) Prepare your Background with pattern paper. I used a dark aper with christmas words on it.

4) Adhere the wings onto the background by using the 3D Foam Squares – White Mix to let them pop up.

5) Use a big 3D Foam Squares and foil by pressing down the foil onto the 3D Foam Square.

6) Adhere the square over the wings.

7) Now you can add more embellishments. I used a little bow I made with a paper punch from Tim Holtz.

8) Frame it and ready to give it away or do give your christmas decoration another highlight.

3D Foam Shapes Holiday Pillow Box Tutorial

Greetings and Happy December! Today I’d like to share a gift wrapping idea using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® 3D Foam Shapes! Using a couple of techniques, I embellished the shapes to decorate this cute pillow box…

Let me share how I created this box…after die cutting my pillow box shape out of this cute striped patterned paper, I assembled it with E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips tape runner and the box is done!

Now to the fun! I place my Gingerbread Man from the 3D Foam Christmas Shapes on a craft sheet and color it with Iced Chai Gelatos® stick. I speed the drying process by using a heating tool. YES, did you know you can?! Its high density foam allows it to be heat embossed!

I left the liner on his mouth as I wanted to keep that white 🙂 The berries were colored with Iced Currant Gelatos® stick and will be used as buttons. So cute!!

Next I wanted to give the Gingerbread Man a little sparkle so I covered him with Glass Bead Glitter Gel (I took off the liner beforehand). It goes on white but will dry clear and he held up through the whole process – still smiling. Set aside to dry.

For the tree, I wanted to add dimension so felt and 3D Foam Creative Sheets was a perfect combination for what I wanted to accomplish. I trim both enough for the die to fit. After removing the liner, the felt was placed on top and then the tree die. I die cut with my manual die cutting machine – about three or four passes (to get somewhat of a clean cut with felt fibers). Set aside to assemble later.

What’s a winter holiday without a snowflake?! I mixed just a little of the blue pigment powder with the Glass Bead Glitter Gel to create this amazing blue sparkly paste. Using a snowflake from the 3D Foam Snowflakes set, I covered it with the blue paste. Set aside to dry.

Just assemble as shown in the image and add a blue rhinestone in the snowflake center – it’s done! Here’s another look…
